Blossoms and Butterflies at Live & Love Crafts!

This is my first of two posts today. For the Graciellie Design Stamp Release blog hop, please click HERE.

Happy May, sparkly friends! It's time for a new challenge at Live & Love Crafts and this month we're playing with Blossoms and Butterflies!

For my project, I used a bunch of Sandy's new goodies to create a Mother's Day card. This is not for my mom, but rather will be included in a box of love I'm mailing out tomorrow. The teen cancer warrior who I made cards for has an amazing mom who I've come to treasure, so this is for the daughter to give since she is unable to do anything unassisted. ♥︎
My papers are from Maja Design's Vintage Romance, their newest release. I am smitten! ♥︎ What a gorgeous collection. The card base was made with Go Kreate's Frame Frilly 7. To pick up the sweet pinks of the flowers, I added pops of pink throughout my design.
I played with the new Wycinanka chippies again. ♥︎ The moment our challenge theme was set, I knew I would feature this beautiful Rainforest Butterfly. Her pearl-accented flourish is from My Favorite Things. I also used a chippie Romance Corner. The Wycinanka pieces have been covered in Aged Gold Frantage. The whimsical scrollwork was calling for a sprinkling of pearls. ;)
A plethora of new trims means I cannot decide which to use, so I layered. :o) The Tulle Trim is unbelievably soft and wispy. I topped it with pink Amabelle (one of my favorites) and lined it with pink pearl garland. The bow was made with Juliette lace and is centered with a rhinestone pearl button.
I hope it fills both of their battling hearts with sweet, healing love. Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a sparkly happy day!
