Fairy Birthday

Hello, sweet friends! Unfortunately I needed another mini break to take care of lingering injury and family health situations. Thank you for the lovely messages and endless support. I'm happy to be back and eager to visit your sweet blogs this weekend. ♥︎

I'm posting on the Live & Love Crafts blog today, sharing a birthday card for a sweet crafty friend. ♥︎ I have combined two pretty Pion collections: Easter Greetings and My Precious Daughter. MPD has been discontinued by Pion, so be quick to order if interested. It will always be a favorite.
The base flower and plaid papers are from Easter Greetings. Gorgeous purples are irresistible to me. ♥︎ The beautiful scallop trim is the new Lynette lace, which I've layered into ruffles. Shabby Seam Binding cascades beneath the larger floral arrangement. Magnolia Heart Flourishes are my foliage.
I used two lovely Wycinanka chippies. ♥︎ The Blueberry Lattice serves as my focal point, with sweet Pion butterflies fluttering above. My blueberries have turned into pearls... birthday magic. ;) The Fairy is embossed with Shabby Pink Frantage for festive sparkle. ♥︎
The butterflies are Memory Box Isabella. Their antennae are made with Pearl Stamen for a touch of elegance. The card base is Go Kreate Large Frame Frilly #7 and my sentiment/tag are from My Craft Spot (no longer in business). A Memory Box Whimsy Circle adorns the top corner. Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a sparkly day. ♥︎

Sketch Challenge at Live & Love Crafts!

Happy June, sweet friends! I am happy to be back after an unexpected mini-break due to not feeling well. It's time for a fun new challenge at Live & Love Crafts and this time we're getting sketchy! Becky made a sketch for us to play with (posted below) and I hope you'll join in.

My card is for a bloggie friend in need of extra love and sunshine. ♥︎
The papers are from Pion Design's Easter Greetings and My Precious Daughter. (MPD has sadly been discontinued, so scoop them up soon if you want a little stash.) I want to surround my friend in love and pretty flowers. ♥︎
I used a few Wycinanka chippies, which have been embossed with Shabby Pink Frantage. A Rainforest Butterfly flutters within a Sweet Dreams 5 frame. I chose Create from the Make Art set for my sentiment to encourage her to keep creating through the pain. When the pain is too intense to craft, I pray she creates in her heart. ♥︎
The Shabby Pink Frantage is shiny and sparkly, which I didn't photograph very well. (Sad face.)
Soft pink Shabby Chic Tulle Trim rests beneath Lynette Lace and Sunflower Pearl Trim for extra layers of softness. My Tea Stain crinkle ribbon is from DL.Art, which I've centered with a Button Etoile embellishment. The card base was made with Go Kreate's Large Frame Frilly 7. I hope she likes it and feels my sparkly love. ♥︎

Here is the lovely sketch (and be sure to see how it inspired my talented teamies):
I dropped the middle rectangle down and used it for my layered trims, which resulted in me moving the smallest panel upward for my sentiment. Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a sparkly day. ♥︎
