Congratulations

Hello, treasured friends! I'm posting on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog today, sharing a celebratory card for a precious new baby. ♥︎
Soft and sweet is my favorite combination for baby cards (and all cards!), so I incorporated several Wild Orchid Crafts trims for supreme sweetness. ♥︎ The darling papers are from Pion Design's Theodore and Bella.
Ruffle trim flutters along the bottom, which I've topped with a gorgeous flat-back pearl sting. Up top is a pretty eyelet trim, which I truly adore. The curved border is a Marianne Design die. For extra ruffles, I crinkled up white vintage seam binding for my primary floral arrangement. ♥︎
Have you seen the gorgeous metal embellishments in the store? I fell in love with the heart charm set (naturally!) and adhered one with pink Divine Twine. ♥︎ It's a lovely touch of pink and gold to my neutral palette card.

Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day! ♥︎

Snowy Christmas

Hello, sweet friends! I hope your week is off to a sparkly start! I'm posting today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, sharing a snowy Christmas inspiration.

I used Foamiran for my poinsettia, which has a lovely soft effect; perfect for a peaceful Christmas. :) For a festive pop of red, my poinsettia is centered with a red bead berry spray.♥️
Cascading from either side are babies breath fabric flowers. Their wispiness and pearly elegance make my heart dance! Although the white option is currently out of stock, the pale blue is available and would be stunning for wintry Christmas creations.♥️
I created a ruffly lace snowdrift, lined with my favorite flat-back pearl string, before nestling in a Wycinanka chipboard Christmas tree. Self-adhesive pearls were sprinkled atop.♥️The sentiment is from My Craft Spot (no longer in business), which is cut out with a Spellbinders banner die and trimmed with lace.
Tucked within my floral arrangement are pearl snowflakes and frosted berries. The sparkling iciness of winter is magical.♥️The pretty papers are from Pion Design's The Night Before Christmas.
Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day. :)♥️

Sweet Christmas

Hello, treasured friends! Thank you for the endless love and well-wishes. I remain in the midst of this healing journey, so I am not yet back as I'd like. With all of my heart, I pray to be soon!

I'm posting today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, sharing a wee bit of sweet Christmas. I have a beautiful stash of red WOC goodies which had sadly been neglected. They inspired this festive creation using darling papers from Pion Design's The Night Before Christmas. ♥️
I especially love the deep reds, which are perfectly rich for traditional holiday colors. The red bead berry sprays are delightful accents, while the cherry blossoms remind me of warm-centered poinsettias. (That's my excuse for using these sweet blossoms in a Christmas card.) ;) ♥️
The Cruise Beige vintage seam binding is centered with one of my favorite embellishments: Flat-back Pearls in a Diamond Circle. How stunning is the deep red, bursting with Christmas love.♥️ My sentiment is trimmed with the ever-versatile White Net Lace. The sweet scene is framed with a Wycinanka Blueberry Swirls chippie.
Oh the beauty of Wild Orchid Craft flowers.♥️ Some lovely pearl snowflakes are also nestled within.
My card base and coordinating filigree layer are from Sue Wilson's Delicate Garden set. Thank you for visiting and I wish you a blessed day!♥️

Starry Christmas

Happy July, sweet friends! Thank you for your endless love. I'm posting today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, where the designers were asked to step outside of our comfy zones and create in styles different than our typical. There are two I will be frolicking in and up first is my take on Clean and Simple! Say what?! ♥️

For true CAS crafters, this may be viewed as too much... but coming from all out shabby chic with oodles of layering and texture, even *this* was challenging for me.
I created a Christmas bauble card, featuring pretty pearls, lace, and of course a few gorgeous flowers. Red and white aster daisies nestle beneath a sparkling Christmas rose. ♥️ My snowy accents are Snow Writer topped with Glamour Dust. The festive papers are Pion Design's The Night Before Christmas.
My chipboard Scrapiniec Starry Bauble hangs from a pearl string, which dangles from a white net lace border. I was super excited to see that the two largest stars on my bauble were the perfect match for WOC's pearl stars. I happy danced while adhering them! It was a nice way to incorporate texture without adding layers to the open card space.
The wavy border at the bottom is a Marianne Design die. As terrifying as this challenge was, I'm very excited about it! Who knew I could get this close to CAS? It may help during the Christmas rush that will be here before we know it. Thank you for visiting and I wish you a beautiful day! ♥️

I Hold You in My Heart

Hello, friends! Always know how much I treasure you.♥︎ I am posting today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, sharing a shabby encouragement card.

It has been a difficult week grieving the loss of the sparkliest cancer warrior. At only 9 years old, Tessa inspired and loved beyond measure. She lived down the road from me, filling my heart with her light. ♥︎
This card is for one of the many people whose heart has been shattered. I want to remind her that even though we feel broken, we are being held by the ultimate healing love. I adore Wild Orchid Crafts pastels, which made it easy to add pops of sweet pink love (roses/leaves) and sunshiny yellow (cherry blossom). Tessa is everything beautiful... pure love and sunshine.
Vintage Seam Binding and Lace are knotted together for shabby bunting, while gorgeous Autumn Blossoms ruffle atop it. Each knot is placed between the pearls of WOC's lovely Pearl String, which is very pretty in person. A few pink and yellow ribbons were added to reflect Tessa's sweet little self. ♥︎
Flat-back Pearl String adorns my Wycinanka chipboard frame for added elegance. The sentiment is from JustRite. For a touch of sparkle, Bead Berry Clusters are nestled alongside the cherry blossoms. The clusters are one of my favorite WOC embellishments to sprinkle in my creations. ♥︎ The beautiful papers are from Pion Design's Where the Roses Grow

Tessa's love will forever blossom within all who cherish her. ♥︎
Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day! ♥︎

Special Friend

Happy Wednesday, sparkly friends! I'm fluttering in with the start of a new challenge at 7 Kids College Fund! The theme is always Anything Goes and the winner will receive a generous gift certificate to the store.♥️

I created a card for a treasured friend, showcasing some newer additions to the store from Wild Orchid Crafts, Wycinanka, and Pion Design. So many dreamy product lines.♥️
My friend is everything beautiful with a heart of pure gold and I want to remind her how special she is to me.♥️The gorgeous papers are from Pion Design's Where the Roses Grow, including the stunning vintage lady. She is centered within Wycinanka's lovely Charming Oval Frame, which I covered in crackle paste.
I'm ecstatic that Kelly and Karen are now offering Wild Orchid Crafts flowers! The sweet arrangements throughout my card consist of English Roses, Chrysanthemums, Plum Roses, Vintage Roses, Cherry BlossomsMiniature Sweetheart Blossoms, and Bead Berry Spray Cluster.
Sunflower Pearl Lace beautifully ruffles along the bottom, which I paired with crinkle ribbon from DL.Art's Coffeehouse Bundle 3. The stunning die cut frame atop my card is Sue Wilson's Delicate Garden. Cheery Lynn Designs Mini Fanciful Flourishes frolic within the flowers.

I hope she enjoys this little gift as much as I enjoyed creating it for her. Be sure to check out the delightful inspiration from my teamies and play along for a chance to win a gift certificate to 7 Kids! Thank you for visiting and have a sparkly day.♥️

Sweet Love (and a new mission)

Happy New Year, sweet friends! I hope your 2017 is filled with good health and dreams come true.♥️It's time for new challenges at 7 Kids College Fund (Anything Goes with the option of Valentine) and Deep Ocean (Anything New)! There are generous prizes to be won at both, so I hope you'll play along with us! Naturally I've used a plethora of Wycinanka chippies for the occasion.

My project is another tip-toe into shabby scrapbooking! I love this crafty outlet and I am eager to grow in it. The purpose of this scrapbook page kicks off something new I am doing this year, which I will explain just below.
This project begins an expansion of my mission to spread love to those in dire need. Scrapbooking is innately beautiful in the fact that it preserves sweet memories created throughout life. For most of my terminally ill little friends I adore and support, their lives are far too short... leaving their heartbroken parents clinging to the precious few months or years of memories made. I am designing scrapbooks this year for parents of children battling diseases for which there is no cure. It is hard on my heart, as I love them so deeply... but with each carefully chosen detail, I say another prayer for the miracles that are desperately needed.

This is my first page of Ella (photos taken by Crush Photography), the sweetest ray of sunshine that I fell in love with many moons ago.♥️She is 4 years old and battles every day. We nearly lost her last year, but God granted grace. He has a purpose for her and we will forever believe for her miracle. Her mom has the gentlest, most loving heart and I am blessed to know her.
I used a heap of new goodies to celebrate the sweetness that is Ella! The gorgeous papers are from Pion Design's Where the Roses Grow, which I scooped up the moment they arrived at 7 Kids. They are dreamy and perfect for such a princess. All of the flowers are from my beloved Wild Orchid Crafts (coming soon to 7 Kids!), of which I cannot get enough. Ella is filled with so much love that even the leaves are turning pink.

Lace Flower Netting provides soft detailing along the bottom. My central focal point is comprised of three beautiful Wycinanka chippies: The large Elegance frame is one of my favorites, which I have filled in with iridescent beads for a touch of whimsy. The smaller heart frame is one of Wycinanka's newest offerings, which is embossed with Shabby Pink Frantage.
The last part of the central trio is the stunning lace heart... it truly makes my heart flutter as it delicately flourishes in natural beauty. Amidst the Butterfly Tassel trim (currently sold out) on top, the page opens up in floral delight, encouraging Ella and her mom to believe in the miracles blossoming from within.
The hot air balloon is another Wycinanka new release (coming soon to 7 Kids!). I was so excited to see it in my Wycinanka DT box that I altered my nearly-complete layout to include it! I layered it with the gentle lilac butterfly paper, which I think Ella's giant heart will delight in.♥️
To encourage my sweet friends, I chose 'follow your dreams' as my theme. The darling bunny is covered with crackle paste. I couldn't resist adding this cutie pie because Ella loves animals so much. The chippie border peeking from behind the center panel is from Wycinanka's Sweet Dreams set. The precious butterfly is a die from Joy! Crafts Vintage Flourishes collection.

Flutter on over to check out the gorgeous projects from my teamies at 7 Kids and Deep Ocean! Then link up and inspire us with your heartfelt creations. Thank you for visiting and I wish you a sparkly day.♥️

Silent Night at Deep Ocean Challenge!

Hello, sweet friends! A whirlwind move to a new city has delayed my return to the blogging community, but I will be settled within a few more days to visit your sparkly blogs. How deeply I miss you! Thank you for your love on my previous post. :)

This card is serving triple purposes! I am showcasing beautiful chippies for the lovely Wycinanka. It also is for the new challenge at Deep Ocean, with a gorgeous theme of Silent Night. Additionally, it was a wee bit of inspiration for the sweet ladies at 7 Kids College Fund!
I used beautiful papers from Pion Design's Greetings from the North Pole to create a peaceful wintry scene.
A stunning Reindeer Bauble chippie has been embossed with Shabby White Frantage, as has the Very Merry Snowflake Border which is nestled within my flowers.
My base was made with Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles, while my trims are from my stash. Thank you for visiting me and sticking with me during this extremely busy move! Normalcy will return this month. :) Have a beautiful day!

Follow Your Dreams ♥️

Hello, treasured friends! After a month away, I am ecstatic to be back! I am beyond anxious to visit you and see what you have been up to. Today I am sharing a wee bit of inspiration on the Live & Love Crafts blog.

Originally this post was to be Christmassy, but after getting married last week my heart has been aflutter... so butterflies and flowers it is. ♥️ My card features an all-time favorite collection: Pion Design's Paris Flea Market.
This set is for my sweetest and dearest friend in appreciation of how richly she blessed me and my sweetheart on our special day. Rather than a typical thank you, I am encouraging her as she does us.. and pairing it with a little keepsake wedding cake!
These beautiful Pion papers set a perfect backdrop for a butterfly garden of hope and dreams. My card base was created with Go Kreate's Frame Frilly 7.
The whimsical Wycinanka Louvre Frame has been adorned with pure white WOC blossoms and a sprinkling of Star Dust. This is one of my ultimate favorite chippies! It is encircled with Rockabilly ruffle trim, the most darling polka dot trim I have ever used. Wycinanka's Summer Wedding Border adds extra butterfly love.
Isabelle lace and shabby seam binding provide delicacy and softness. The butterflies throughout are also from Paris Flea Market. The Wycinanka sentiment is from the Catch Your Dreams collection. ♥️
Lastly, the sweet Wycinanka 3D Lacy Cake has been adorned with equally sweet Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. The chipboard pieces have been painted with white acrylic paint... I am enamored with this 3D offering from Wycinanka and had such fun with it. Pink Pearl Garland is woven throughout, while stunning Pearl Lace with Beads trims each cake layer.

Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day! ♥️
