My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party- O Holy Night

Hello, my sweet friends! I hope you're having a sparkly day! Welcome to Day 2 of the My Craft Spot stamp release party! :o)

Today we are featuring the NEW O Holy Night stamp set! This collection has a variety of beautiful sentiments that work perfectly for any Christmastime project. They just warm the heart. (All of the new stamps and SVG files will be available for purchase on Saturday!)

To celebrate the true meaning of the season, I made an elegant cross that can be used as a large tree ornament or a sweet wall hanging.
A little closer in on the cross, which is a layered cut file from the Silhouette Online Store:
It is backed in burgundy for a rich representation of His love, with a snowy flourish of joy. And I could not resist adding a complete border of pearls. :o) (Yes, it took quite a while.)
This is one of the simpler sentiments on this set, which nestled in so perfectly. The script is gorgeous and stands so beautifully on its own! My wintry paper is from Pion Design's Silent Night collection. The Fancy Flourish is from My Favorite Things, which is covered in Glamour Dust. The snowflakes are from Cheery Lynn Designs.
The precious dangling snowflake was made with the Flowers- Daisy dies, which is covered in Glamour Dust and centered with a Wild Orchid Crafts rose. Love truly blossomed into life on that holy day. :o) The simple hanger on top is made with Chocolate twine.

Flutter on over to the My Craft Spot blog to see the lovely creations from my inspiring teamies! While there, leave a comment on Kimberly's post for a chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to the My Craft Spot store!
Thank you for visiting and I wish you a sparkly beautiful day!

Christmas in the Heart

Hello, sweet friends! I'm posting again today on the My Craft Spot blog, bringing some seasonal joy! Christmas is my favorite everything and I couldn't wait a moment longer to indulge in festive elegance. :o)

I made a card and tag set for a very special friend and had such a fun time filling it with lots of sappy love. :o)
This started with Kimberly's gorgeous Christmas sentiment from the Joy to the World stamp set.
It's such a beautiful greeting. The snowflake flourish above it is from Ornate Labels- Christmas. I framed it in 'snowy' Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and sparkly jingly bells. My bouquet consists of Pink Mist and white roses, hip rosebuds, and cosmo daisies. I always love using their gorgeous blooms! I sprinkled them with Polar White Flower Soft for a fluffy touch of snow. Both pearl trims are also from WOC.
I also used several Cheery Lynn Designs products. The pretty base frames are the Horizon Square Boutique Stacker Frames, my snowflakes are from their snowflake set, and the snowy vines in my bouquet are Mini Fanciful Flourishes. Memory Box dies create my peaceful scene along the bottom: Frosted Spruce Tree (accented with Flower Soft) and part of the Deer Trio, frolicking along a pearly trail of snow.
The coordinating gift tag base is a Marianne Design die, which I decorated with several of Kimberly's goodies! I truly love the Clock Time stamp set, so I used it for my focal point to declare it officially Christmas Day. My clock is atop a Tiny Doilies 2 metal die base, which reminds me of a snowflake. More WOC flowers and Cheery Lynn snowflake/flourish dies surround it.
Merry Christmas is from Joy to the World and the sweet holly corners are from Ornate Labels- Christmas. They are colored with Copics and sprinkled with Glamour Dust. (Glamour Dust also covers every snowflake because I cannot stop using it.) I made the large layered snowflake on top of the tag with two dies from the Flowers- Daisy set, which rests atop Petal Pink and Vanilla Bean crinkle ribbon. Each of the three layers are popped up with foam tape for dimension.

My papers are from Pion Design's Silent Night, which are so lovely in person. I hope it fills my friend's heart with heavenly joy. :o)
Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a blessed day! :o)

Sweet Shaker Card :)

Hello, my sparkly friends! I hope you're having a happy week! Today I'm sharing a sweet shaker card on the My Craft Spot blog. :o)

This is my final contribution for my box of love for Lily, this month's recipient of the I Feel the Love Project who is battling leukemia. As I was contemplating what to do next for her, several colors of Kimberly's sequins were staring me down! I had no choice but to make a shaker for her sweet little hands to play with. :o)
This card began with sequins in sprightly shades of Caribbean, Perfectly Purple, and Tickled Pink...
...and I want Lily to find joy amidst her dark and cloudy days. So I tucked them within a puffy cloud. :o) The clouds are embossed with the D'vine Swirls folder for texture and lightly inked in Broken China distress ink.

Along with loving purple, she loves Disney. The darling Disney sweetheart is a cut file from Treasure Box Designs (We're All Ears). Her sweet expression is my favorite from the Peachy Keen In The Garden collection. I dressed her in Lily's favorite color and used Black Licorice Traditional twine for the shoelaces and Mickey balloon string.
Sometimes the simplest sentiments say it all, don't they? :o) Believe is from the Ornate Labels- Christmas stamp set. I used the Ribbon Banners- Wavy metal die set as its base for an extra touch of whimsy and height. The little flowers in the grass were made with the Flowers- Daisy metal die set.

The bright papers (and fussy-cut bunnies) are from Doodlebug's Springtime collection, while the polka dot and starry purples are from Kaisercraft's Magic Happens. Inside, happy little birdies await Lily:

What a joy it has been to create for this angel:
Thank you for visiting and I wish you a beautiful day!

My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party- Day 4!

Hello, sweet friends! Welcome to Day 4 of the My Craft Spot stamp release party! All week long we're showcasing sneak peeks of FIVE new stamp sets and FOUR new metal die sets! :o) All of the new goodies will be available for purchase on Saturday!

Today we are featuring the NEW Chalkboard Sentiments- Fall stamp set! I have such an affinity for larger sentiments that have an abundance of beautiful words. There are several of those throughout this release. :o)

I made a fun pumpkin card to let this gorgeous sentiment shine. It is for the upcoming Thanksgiving recipient of the beautiful I Feel the Love Project. :o)
The pumpkin is a Miss Kate Cuttables cut file, which I purchased at the Silhouette Online Store. Per usual, I used the Silhouette Software to turn the cut into a card base. How I adore shaped cards! This particular design has the perfect panel to let the greeting take center stage... and isn't it a beauty?
I love the chalkboard design of it. :o) The pretty leaves by the stem are from the Flowers- Daisy metal die set, which are embossed with the Victoria Cuttlebug folder. A double-bow of sweet Candied Orange crinkle ribbon adds a fluttering harvest breeze, which I centered with a Wild Orchid Crafts rose.

My papers are from Maja Design's Walking in the Forest. I've said that a lot lately, haven't I? I'm blowing through this gorgeous collection! My layers are inked with Spiced Marmalade distress ink for a warm glow and popped up with foam tape for dimension.
Flutter on over to the My Craft Spot blog for lovely inspiration from my teamies! While there, leave a comment on Kimberly's post for a chance to win today's daily prize: A $10 Gift Certificate to the My Craft Spot store!

Back to School at My Craft Spot!

Happy Monday, sweet friends! I pray you had a blessed weekend. :o)

It's time for a fun new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week we have a theme challenge: Back to School! I used this opportunity to make a cute little card for next month's I Feel the Love Project recipient. :o)
Several My Craft Spot goodies star in this card. :o) My card base was created with the Scrapping Life- Cards metal dies. Not only is it perfect for Project Life or scrapbooking, but it also makes such a sweet little card base! I used the leaves from Kimberly's new Flowers- Daisy metal dies on my apple, which are embossed with the Victoria Cuttlebug folder.
The sentiment is from Tiny Tags 3, which is cut out and layered with the coordinating Tiny Tags metal dies. The fun red and green notebook paper is from My Mind's Eye. It's from a Christmas collection, but came to mind for this project since it matches the theme and colors. :o)
The fun star border is from the Fancy Edges 2 metal die set. I used some of the negative star cuts for decoration. My sweet cut files are from Little Scraps of Heaven: Cat with Apple and Bear Holding Pencil. I fell in love with this precious kitty!

Tucked inside is a bunch of love. :o) (The interior heart die cut is also from the Scrapping Life- Cards set.)
Be sure to flutter on over to the My Craft Spot blog to see the fun creations from my teamies! I look forward to seeing what you create this week. :o) Have a sparkly day!

3D Flowers at My Craft Spot!

Hello, my sweet friends! I hope you had a blessed weekend. :o)

Today begins a fun new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week is all about 3D flowers, which is one of my favorite things in crafting! :o) I love 3D flowers and look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!

For my project, I made a card for August's I Feel the Love Project collection. This month we are sending love to the sweet elderly residents at Wynwood of McMinnville assisted living facility. It is so important not to forget our seniors!

Everyone loves flowers that never fade, right? :o)
The beautiful flowers are one of Kimberly's newest goodies, the versatile Flowers- Daisy metal die set! (I adore this collection!) I layered a couple of the designs for regular daisies (minus the largest die) and then filled in my little basket with one of the flower center options. I thought they would make sweet little flowers on their own. :o) (Which was probably Kimberly's line of thinking, too!)
They are covered in Wink of Stella clear glitter, naturally. :o) I tucked tulle into the basket before adding the flowers and finished with a few pearl sprays. The leaves are inked with Forest Moss and embossed with the Victoria Cuttlebug folder. The flowers are inked with Victorian Velvet. The pretty basket is a Marianne Design die.

How adorable are these teeny tiny pink hearts on the bottom panel? :o)
The flower border is from the Fancy Edges 2 metal die set, which I've accented with pearls. The sweet sentiment is from Tiny Tags 3, which I've cut out and layered with the coordinating Tiny Tags metal dies. Petal Pink crinkle ribbon provides a soft border, which I've double-bowed and centered with a Wild Orchid Crafts scalloped pearl.

The lovely papers are part of the box of paper love I recently received as a gift! They are from Pion Design's My Precious Daughter collection. So beautiful. :o) I hope it brings a smile to the heart of the senior who will soon receive it.

Thank you for fluttering on by! Have a sparkly and blessed day. :o)

Birthday Love :)

Hello, crafty friends! I hope everyone is doing sparkly! :o) I'm posting on the My Craft Spot blog today, sharing a new creation with Kimberly's new Flowers- Daisy dies. :o)

A nature-loving family member has a birthday on Saturday, so I turned to a few of my favorite My Craft Spot goodies to show my love. :o)
Each layer of the beautiful daisy dies is popped up with dimensionals and the petals are gently curled. The leaf dies in the set are gorgeous, which I embossed with the Cuttlebug Victoria folder.
The sweet sentiment is from the Build a Birthday stamp set. I adore this set, as there are so many options and such fun greetings! My center layers are Spellbinders Gold Labels 4. I rarely make a birthday card without some type of bunting, so I used the Tiny Tag metal dies for this one! The tags are slightly curved upward at the bottom to give an appearance of gentle waving. Antique Gold jute string ties my banner together.

You may be curious about these gorgeous papers! I received a gift last week from my sweetheart... a little box of paper love for making some tough decisions and pressing on through challenging days. Part of the gift are these Maja Design papers, from the Walking in the Forest collection. It's honestly one of my dream paper collections! Like Pion Design (which I used in my double-sliding lid box), Maja is based in Sweden. All my favorite papers are from Swedish companies! :/

The Autumn papers throughout are extraordinary, most of which I'm saving for a little later. I'm still afraid to use my ultimate favorites. But this beautiful owl and birdie paper was perfect for the recipient, so I dove right in. The coordinating papers on this card are so lovely in person... so warm and happy. The butterflies are fussy cut from the collection, as well.

A peek inside, which is the only non-Maja Design paper. I couldn't bear to use a piece for the inside! Thankfully this neutral floral from My Mind's Eye paired nicely. :o)
Thank you for visiting and I wish you a sparkly day! :o)

My Craft Spot Mini Release Day 1: Daisy Dies!

Hello, my sweet friends! It's time for the surprise My Craft Spot mini release! :o)

Kimberly was just too excited to wait for the next full release to share TWO of her new metal die sets! Join us today and tomorrow as we showcase these new goodies! Kimberly is offering an amazing prize each day, with the winners randomly chosen from comments left on the My Craft Spot and Design Team blogs. The more blogs you leave a little love, the more chances you have to win. :o) She is also picking a winner from customer orders! (Prize details below!)

Today we are showcasing the new Flowers- Daisy metal dies! For my project, I made a friendship card for someone I hold near and dear to my heart. She has helped me through some trying times lately. :o)
These daisy dies are already one of my favorite of all the amazing My Craft Spot goodies! There are so many options and are such fun to use.
Each layer of my flowers is popped up with foam tape for dimension, inked with Victorian Velvet distress ink, and was given a coating of elegant shimmer with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (clear). The sparkle is stunning in person... just not so easy to photograph. The beautiful leaf dies are inked with Forest Moss and embossed with the Victoria Cuttlebug folder. The scalloped pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts, while the others are from Recollections.

When I saw the new dies, my heart instantly went to friendship. The sweet sentiment is from the Clock Time stamp set. I stamped around it with an Ornate Labels- Christmas frame and cut it out with the coordinating Ornate Labels metal dies.
The beautiful papers are from Authentique's Classique: Pretty collection. My base is created with Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles. The center popped-up frame was made with Floral Ovals and Classic Ovals- Large. I sprinkled several little sections of pearls nestled within the frame and flowers. (It's hard to be intentionally 'sporadic' in placement!)

Here are both new sets of metal dies! :o)

Kimberly is giving away a $15 gift certificate EACH DAY of this mini release, randomly chosen from comments left on our blogs!
Gift Certificate - $15
Additionally, since these new goodies are available for purchase right now, Kimberly is picking a winner from customer orders for a $20 gift certificate!
