Mini Christmas Cards!

Happy Tuesday, dear friends! I'm posting on the My Craft Spot blog today, sharing tiny Christmas blessings!

Craftily speaking, are you feeling the Christmas time crunch? This past weekend was my last chance to add to my contributions for the I Feel the Love Project Christmas recipients. We have been creating for sick children (and their parents) who are spending the holiday in the hospital.

Inspired by the incredibly sweet Tiny Tags Christmas stamp set, I tapped into my simpler side to create a set of mini cards.
Tiny packages... big heart!
All of the beautiful Tiny Tags Christmas sentiments were cut out with the coordinating Tiny Tags metal dies. The precious little mittens are hanging by a bow of Chocolate traditional twine. While I always love adding ribbon to my projects, I especially love it on small cards like this where detailing will innately be minimal. I used Harvest Wine crinkle ribbon here, one of my favorite shades.
The only thing sweeter than a festive cupcake is a miniature version delivered by Santa himself! (How I adore this stamp set!) The swirled frosting is accented with garnet (not black as it appears!) and green rhinestones and topped with sparkling holly and berries. Snow White crinkle ribbon and Chocolate traditional twine are my trims.
Lastly, a happy hot cocoa bear to bring joy to a precious child's heart. The cut file is Yummy Cocoa by KaDoodle Bug Designs. Garnet rhinestones accent the dollops of whipped cream for touches of peppermint. Sky Blue crinkle ribbon serves as a fluttery wintry breeze and touches of Star Dust were added throughout.

My papers are from various Docrafts Papermania collections and my bows are centered with Star Dusted Wild Orchid Crafts roses.
Thank you for fluttering on by! Have a beautiful day. :o)

Joy, Hope, and Peace

Hello, sweet friends! I'm sharing some Christmas cheer on the My Craft Spot blog today. :o)

One of the sweetest ways to deliver festive love is with the new Tiny Tags Christmas stamp set! Tiny Tags are innately adorable and I appreciate that Kimberly included both whimsical and divine sentiments for the season.
As many of you know, most of my projects are donated to a beautiful non-profit to bring sparkly love to those in need of extra love and sunshine. The I Feel the Love Project always dedicates our Christmas collections to children (and their parents) who will be spending the holiday in the hospital. This year our love will be sent to a children's hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and this is my newest card for them. Since they cannot be home, I made a decorated house scene to warm their hearts.
The banner is truly the most important part of the card. This is my Tiny Tag version of the prayer flag project! (I am eager to sew an actual one... hopefully soon'ish.) Are you familiar with it? Essentially you create a banner for a particular cause/prayer and hang it outside. As it flutters in the breeze, the prayers of our heart are sent upward to our faithful God. My goal is to create one per month next year for 12 people/organizations in need... it would be such a joy to mail it to them after they've fluttered for a while, as a reminder to them that they are never alone.

For my card, I chose two of my favorite sentiments from this set to encourage the recipients to grow ever closer to the One who can heal the precious child. They are cut out with the coordinating Tiny Tags metal dies and strung with Cherry Red traditional twine.
The exterior of my Impression Obsession Brick House is decorated with rhinestones as Christmas lights and the windows are backed with festive scenes. Naturally my sweet little house is overflowing with love, evidenced by the heart-shaped puffs of smoke from the chimney. ♥︎ The sweet pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The fancy snow drift was made with Marianne Design's Fancy Edge with Lattice die. My card base is made with Cheery Lynn Designs' Horizon Square Boutique Stacker dies and my snowflake background paper is from Papermania's Bellissima Christmas collection. The frolicking deer are from the Memory Box Deer Trio set.

An angled view to better show the embossed house:
Thank you for visiting and I wish you a blessed day! :o)

Christmas Candy Fairy

Hello, sweet friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. :o)

Today I'm sharing my newest contribution for this month's I Feel the Love Project recipients. We are creating cards for kiddos (and their parents) who will be spending Christmas at a children's hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is a privilege to spread some heavenly love to their battling hearts!

(My apologies for the ultra-sparklified and fluffified image... only because I had trouble photographing it properly! Hehe.)
When I saw this darling Christmas Candy Fairy stamp from The Paper Shelter, I had to color it up for one of the precious children. She's irresistibly sweet! I added Glamour Dust to her wings, holly berries, and candy. The trim of her outfit and slippers are covered in Polar White Flower Soft. Fuzzy slippers were a must. :o) The joyous sentiment is from My Craft Spot's Merry & Bright set, one of my favorites. :o) It is stamped upon one of the gorgeous dies from Marianne Design's Petra's Heart collection in Lady Bug Red and Cottage Ivy Memento inks.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, beneath which I nestled sparklified Memory Box and Cheery Lynn Designs snowflakes. I wanted this card to bubble up with all the love I have for this brave child, so I topped it with La-La Land Craft's Heart Doily Border. For textural fun I added a layer of Scarlet Red crinkle ribbon and twine, upon which I added fuzzy jingly bells.

The snowflake paper is from BoBunny, while the rest are from Graphic 45's Nutcracker Sweet collection. For one final layer of love, I used my Martha Stewart Lace Heart Edge punch. Some things went a little willy nilly with this card, but thankfully what truly matters is that my and God's love will soon envelop the beautiful heart for which it was made. :o)

(Okay, so perhaps I could have used a touch less Glamour Dust...)
Thank you for fluttering on by! Have a sweet and sparkly day. :o)

My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party- Merry & Bright

Hello, my sparkly friends! Welcome to Day 5 of the My Craft Spot stamp release party! Be sure to come back tomorrow for the celebratory BLOG HOP, where inspiration and prizes will be in abundance! You'll also see the new goodies in their entirety, which will be available for purchase! Yay! You won't want to miss it! :o)

Today we are showcasing the Merry & Bright stamp set! This collection has a wonderful variety of festive greetings, large and small. This entire release is a delight!

My card today features two stamps from this set! This is another creation made in advance for the I Feel the Love Project to spread love to children (and their parents) spending Christmas in the hospital.
I love this set so much that I had to squeeze in multiple sentiments! :o) The cutie pie is Christmas Star from Lili of the Valley, which I colored with Copics. She seemed a perfect vessel to deliver holiday cheer! Polar White Flower Soft and Star Dust add magical touches.
How fun that Kimberly designed one in the shape of a tree! It was love at first sight with this sweet one. I used Memento ink in Cottage Ivy for the tree and Rich Cocoa for the trunk. A heavenly glow (Tim Holtz Scattered Straw) trims my tree, along with a sprinkling of pearls. (I just can't stop myself.) The middle panel is bordered with a die from the Fancy Edges 2 set, with Snow White crinkle ribbon lining the top. (My bow is centered with a Wild Orchid Crafts scalloped pearl.)
This delightful sentiment was stamped in Cottage Ivy and Ladybug Red inks for extra festivity.  I always appreciate Kimberly's varied sentiment sizes to fit so many different areas! There can never be too much joy tucked into a Christmas card. :o)

My image is layered upon Spellbinders Labels Four and Gold Labels Four dies and surrounded with my beloved Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. Flower Soft extends the snowy scene to my little bouquet, which I've accented with a WOC crown pearl stick pin and a pearly heart stick pin. The corner and top border detailing are coordinating Joy! Crafts dies: Frame and 3 Corners and Ornate Edge, respectively. The scattered snowflakes are from Cheery Lynn. My papers are from Kaisercraft's North Pole collection and I finished it off with machine stitching.

My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party- Christmas Chalkboard

Hello, my sweet friends! Happy Thursday and welcome to Day 4 of the My Craft Spot stamp release party! :o)

Today we are featuring the NEW Christmas Chalkboard stamp set! I love this chalkboard style and the sentiments are spectacular! :o) (All of the new stamps and SVG files will be available for purchase on Saturday!)

This card was created for an upcoming I Feel the Love Project Christmas collection, where we will be delivering Christmas cheer to children (and their parents) who are spending the holiday in the hospital.
I designed this to suit both the child and parent, with touches of elegance combined with the magic of Santa. The lovely sentiment inspired me to create a happy scene for them to look at, filled with the joys of the season.
Isn't the sentiment gorgeous? I heat-embossed it in white for a snowy impact. The fancy frame is one of Kimberly's NEW SVG files! She created a set to coordinate with these Chalkboard sentiments in varying styles... naturally I chose the Chalkboard Frame- Flourish option! I accented the pretty flourishes with pearls.
I used several Cheery Lynn Designs dies to create my sentiment-inspired scene: Winter Neighborhood, Poinsettia Strip, and the Horizon Square Boutique Stacker Frames (for my base). My papers are from Bo Bunny's Silver and Gold collection. The poinsettias are trimmed in gold Glamour Dust and the neighborhood is dusted in Polar White Flower Soft.
Jingle on over to the My Craft Spot blog to be inspired by my talented teamies! While there, leave a comment on Kimberly's post for a chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to the My Craft Spot store!

My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party- Tiny Tags Christmas

Hello, dear friends! I hope you're having a blessed day! Welcome to Day 3 of the My Craft Spot stamp release party! :o)

Today we are featuring the NEW Tiny Tags Christmas stamp set! You already know how much I adore Kimberly's Tiny Tag sets... when I saw she made a Christmas version, my elation was through the roof! :o) (All of the new stamps and SVG files will be available for purchase on Saturday!)

I made my first contributions for an upcoming charitable Christmas collection for the I Feel the Love Project. We will be crafting for kids (and their parents) who will be spending Christmas in the hospital. I hope it brings a smile to their battling hearts.
This Elf Stocking is one of Kimberly's new SVG files, designed by her sweet daughter! Isn't it whimsically darling? Rather than use it on a card, I made them nicely sized and gave them a crinkle ribbon holder (Sky Blue and Vanilla Bean)... that way the severely ill kiddo and mom can still have stockings to hang. :o)
I love all of the sentiments in this new set and thought they would be adorable tied to the stockings. They are cut out with the coordinating Tiny Tags metal dies. I used precious Doodlebug Frosty Friends papers for the child stocking, adding fun little poms to the trim. The NEW Light Blue Twist twine holds my tiny tag. The mom's features glittery Best Creation papers, with festive jingly bells and Cherry Red twine. Both are overflowing with love.
Be sure to hop on over to the My Craft Spot blog to see inspiring creations from the entire team! While there, leave a comment on Kimberly's post for a chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to the My Craft Spot store!
Thank you for visiting! Have a happy day of love and sunshine! :o)

Harvest Wreath Card

Happy October, sweet friends! (Anyone know how it's October already?) I hope you're having a wonderful week! Today I'm sharing this Autumn-inspired card on the My Craft Spot blog! :o)

Fall foliage is one of the blessings of the season and I thought it would be fun to create a harvest wreath card with Kimberly's fabulous metal dies. :o) The start of a new month means a new recipient for the treasured I Feel the Love Project, where we deliver love and hope to those in need of extra sunshine.

This month we are making Thanksgiving cards for Atascadero Christian Home, spreading holiday love to the sweet elderly residents in the retirement community. Seniors need to know they're never forgotten. :o)
The beautiful leaves are from the Fall Border metal die set, one of my favorites of the recent release. I only glued down the bottom of the leaves so the rest could curl up a bit. The precious acorns are also from the Fall Border set, to which I added a touch of golden sparkle.
Sporadically tucked around the wreath are apples from the Fall Wheelbarrow set, which I covered in Glamour Dust. Sugared fruit is so pretty in wreaths. :o) The sweet sentiment is from Banner Sentiments- Fall, which I cut out with the Ribbon Banners- Wavy metal dies. I finished off my wreath with a flowing bow of Candied Orange crinkle ribbon, centered with a gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts rose.

The heart card base is the Heart Border cut file from the Silhouette Online Store. I thought it paired nicely with the heartfelt sentiment. :o) Bo Bunny papers were used for the leaves.

Thank you for fluttering on by and have a blessed day! :o)

Sweet Shaker Card :)

Hello, my sparkly friends! I hope you're having a happy week! Today I'm sharing a sweet shaker card on the My Craft Spot blog. :o)

This is my final contribution for my box of love for Lily, this month's recipient of the I Feel the Love Project who is battling leukemia. As I was contemplating what to do next for her, several colors of Kimberly's sequins were staring me down! I had no choice but to make a shaker for her sweet little hands to play with. :o)
This card began with sequins in sprightly shades of Caribbean, Perfectly Purple, and Tickled Pink...
...and I want Lily to find joy amidst her dark and cloudy days. So I tucked them within a puffy cloud. :o) The clouds are embossed with the D'vine Swirls folder for texture and lightly inked in Broken China distress ink.

Along with loving purple, she loves Disney. The darling Disney sweetheart is a cut file from Treasure Box Designs (We're All Ears). Her sweet expression is my favorite from the Peachy Keen In The Garden collection. I dressed her in Lily's favorite color and used Black Licorice Traditional twine for the shoelaces and Mickey balloon string.
Sometimes the simplest sentiments say it all, don't they? :o) Believe is from the Ornate Labels- Christmas stamp set. I used the Ribbon Banners- Wavy metal die set as its base for an extra touch of whimsy and height. The little flowers in the grass were made with the Flowers- Daisy metal die set.

The bright papers (and fussy-cut bunnies) are from Doodlebug's Springtime collection, while the polka dot and starry purples are from Kaisercraft's Magic Happens. Inside, happy little birdies await Lily:

What a joy it has been to create for this angel:

Bear Hugs :)

Happy Saturday, crafty friends! I hope you're having a beautiful weekend! I'm fluttering in to post on the My Craft Spot blog today. :o)

This is my latest contribution for sweet Lily, this month's recipient of the I Feel the Love Project. While she battles leukemia, I want her to know how deeply she is loved. Purple is her favorite color, so I used some of my favorite purple goodies throughout.
Most of my projects are for charitable purposes and I can always count on Kimberly to have the perfect sentiments, regardless of the recipient's age or difficult circumstance. I wanted to send Lily some teddy bear hugs, courtesy of this sweet Posy Trio stamp from Lili of the Valley (colored with Copics).
The precious sentiment is from Tiny Tags 3, which is cut out with the coordinating Tiny Tags metal dies. I love the bear(y) greetings on that set! :o) I tucked it beneath Buttercup crinkle ribbon, chosen to reflect ruffles of sunshiny love. The gorgeous roses throughout are from Wild Orchid Crafts, which I've trimmed with Star Dust.

The scalloped bases for the teddy bear stamps are from the Tiny Doilies 2 metal die set. I used the new Fancy Edges- Halloween metal die set to add the stitched design to the top of the middle panel. The beautiful borders were made with the floral die in the Fancy Edges 2 set. I love how it looks lacy. :o)
The butterfly is a Memory Box Isabella die, which is cut out with glittery purple cardstock and covered in Glamour Dust. She's sparkling with so much hope for Lily! My papers are from Wild Rose Studio's Bluebell collection.
Such a strong little girl... I hope these little bears bring a smile to her heart. :o)
Thank you for fluttering on by and have a blessed weekend! :o)

My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party- Day 5!

Happy Friday, sparkly friends! Welcome to Day 5 of the My Craft Spot stamp release party! Hasn't this been a fun week?! We've been showcasing sneak peeks of Kimberly's FIVE new stamp sets and FOUR new metal die sets! :o) Come back tomorrow for the celebratory BLOG HOP, where inspiration and prizes will abound! All of the new goodies will also be available for purchase at that time! YAY! :o)

Today we are featuring the NEW Batty For You stamp set! This set is filled with an assortment of fabulous Halloween sentiments, sure to inspire your creativity!

For my project, I gave an Autumn twist to one of the sentiments: a sweet set of caramel/candy apple cards for Lily! She is this month's recipient of the I Feel the Love Project and it is an honor to send her an abundance of love as she battles leukemia.
This particular sentiment is ideal for so many fun food-themed projects. :o) I debated having a bite already taken out of these treats, but decided to leave them whole in all their prettiness. Love is blossoming even before the bite, right? ;) Eye candy! I love how Kimberly designed the sentiment. Little twine bows of Honeydew and Cherry Red were added for extra sweetness.
I used the drippy goo metal die from the NEW Fancy Edges- Halloween set for the extra chocolate and caramel sauces. This die is so versatile! I intend to use it for ice cream and melty ice, as well. The Cute Caramel Apple cut file is from Miss Kate Cuttables.
Oh the joy of sparkles serving as candies! I used cherry red and garnet rhinestones for a 'red hot' candy apple... amber and crystal for toffee bits and coarse sugar... and black and white pearls for dark and white chocolate chips. :o)

Tucked inside are seeds of love. :o)
I hope this brave little angel enjoys them. :o)
Twirl on over to My Craft Spot to be inspired by my talented teamies. :o) Leave a comment on Kimberly's post for a chance to win today's daily prize: Hocus Pocus crinkle ribbon!
Thank you for fluttering on by! I'll see you tomorrow for the amazing BLOG HOP! You won't want to miss it. :o) Have a beautiful day!
