Shine Like the Stars

Hello, dear friends! This will be short and sweet today, as my weekend began in the hospital and I am quite sleepy! I am grateful to share that I am on the proper path to finally heal. Thank you for sticking with me.♥︎

I am posting on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog today, where I combined a simpler card design with my first use of 'cookie cutter' metal dies. The gorgeous Crafter's Companion Flutterby frame cuts from within, which caused me to pause a few times to situate myself. ;)

My encouragement card features stunning Autumn Blossoms, fluttering atop the prettiest leaves and ruffles of seam binding.♥︎ The papers are from Maja Design's Vintage Romance.

The amazing Anna Griffin sentiment granted me another opportunity to use the pearl stars I love so much! Aren't they beautiful?♥︎

White embellishments are pure magic in their sweet elegance.♥︎

Birthday Love

Hello, precious friends! This year has been unlike any other but I am valiantly fighting to regularly craft once again and sprinkle your work with sweetness... thank you for the continual love. I am forever thankful for you. ♥︎

I am posting today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, sharing a wee bit of birthday inspiration. ♥︎ This is also for our new delightful challenge at Deep Ocean, where we are playing with furry/fuzzy friends! Pure sweetness.

My darling mother's birthday is fast approaching! To celebrate, I've combined vintage pink with classic white and soft green. My papers are from Maja Design's Vintage Romance.

Along with gorgeous flowers, I've layered lovely trims and elegant pearls. I love the combination of the fabric babies breath with vintage seam binding... the softness and wispiness make my heart flutter. Wild Orchid Crafts is a treasure trove of sweet beauty. ♥︎

Favorite 2016 Project at Deep Ocean Challenge!

Merry Christmas, my sweet friends! I pray everyone had a beautiful holiday with overflowing hearts of joy. :)

Hello, sweet and sparkly friends! Today is my last post on the Live & Love Crafts blog. Although I remain heartbroken at LLC's closure, I am excited for the new adventures that await our fearless leader! Thank you for having me, Sandy! It has been an honor to create for and alongside you. ♥️

I have paired my favorite papers from Maja Design's Vintage Romance with whimsical Wycinanka chippies to send sparkly wishes to a heart in need of hope. ♥️

My beloved Wycinanka fairy appears yet again... I have now used 5 of the 6! They are gorgeous and I adore them sprinkled with Shabby White Frantage. She rests atop a Castle Frame chippie, which has been painted with Distress Crackle Paint. The greeting is from the Make a Wish phrase. The stunning trims consist of Tulle and Marquisa, which are topped with a pearl string bow.

It is safe to say that LLC created my addiction to trims. ♥️

Pomegranate apples add a splash of bright pink love within the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, while the gorgeous French Lace doily adds an extra layer of softness.

Hello, sweet friends! I am grateful for you. ♥️

Today I am sharing a wee bit of inspiration on the Live & Love Crafts blog. To celebrate a special occasion, I used lovely papers from Maja Design's Vintage Romance and a gorgeous Wycinanka chippie.

Wycinanka's Large Clock is painted with white acrylic paint, centered with a stunning Button Etoile, and adorned with a sprinkling of pearls. My sentiment is from Maja's Vintage Autumn Basics, which pairs perfectly with the focal point and the memories to be celebrated and made.

Nestled within the floral arrangement are two beautiful vintage pins: Capped Teardrops and Maya Road Heart Pins. The sweet Love Heart Clip is also from Maya Road, from which dangles a pretty Leaves Chain charm.

Several trims from Sandy's inspiring collection add layers of softness and elegance. One of my favorite parts of the design process is choosing the trims... they make my heart flutter. ♥️
