Love is All Around Us

Hello, sweet friends! I'm posting on the Live & Love Crafts blog today, sharing a lovey-dovey card featuring Maja's Vintage Romance papers and Wycinanka chippies. ♥︎

This is to celebrate the unwavering love between a beautiful couple whose child is enduring a terminal disease. How I love this family. Their daughter's disease has progressed so it is on my heart to make them a box of love. ♥︎
Vintage Romance has so many gorgeous designs that I'm only now playing with the blues. They are timeless and beautiful, just like this couple's love. My focal point is the Lovely Swans chippie, which I've set upon Forget Me Not paper. For this purpose, it's reminiscent of sweet petals floating atop a pond. A few Mini Hearts flutter about. The stunning Wycinanka Sweet Dreams No. 4 Frame surrounds my little scene.
The pearly bubbles nestled around them each represent a sweet memory shared. Shabbylicious Ruffle Lace trims the bottom (waves of love ♥︎), which is lined with Pearl Garland. A Lace Heart Appliqué is topped with a Seam Binding bow, while Background Hearts float up behind. Ever-blossoming love needed to tucked within every inch possible. ♥︎ My chippies are painted with white acrylic paint. The foliage within my flowers is from Tattered Lace.
The sentiment is cut from one of the pretty Vintage Romance papers, upon which a sweet Pion butterfly has landed. ♥︎ It is vital to recognize and embrace the love that surrounds them, which I'm grateful they do. As days become even harder, I pray their love continues to rise up and conquer the darkness.
The interior is filled with even more love... you can never have too much. ♥︎ Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful weekend. :o)

Graciellie Design Stamp Release Blog Hop

Happy Sunday, sweet and sparkly friends! We are back for another celebration of the newest release from Graciellie Design's Digital Stamps! Gracie's stamps are beautiful and lovely. Today I am using one of the gorgeous sentiments from the new Classic Greetings set. ♥︎
Here is the cover of the set I am featuring, which is ideal for so many occasions.
(My previous blog hop card showcases the stunning floral image, which can be seen HERE.)
Life got in the way of a fancier card I had envisioned, but I'm grateful for every moment of crafting that can be squeezed in. For my birthday card, I used Pion Design's Scent of Lavender collection. The Prima flowers are from when I first began crafting... deeeep in my stash! The sweet bird's nest is from my crafty pal Kelly, to which I paired a La-La Land Crafts birdhouse. I had incredible fun crackling up the birdhouse and filling it with precious love. ♥︎

The foliage is a combination of Cheery Lynn and Tattered Lace dies. My base is (again!) made with Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles. The beautiful Tea Stain crinkle ribbon is from my wonderful friend Diana of DL.Art, while the pretty Cheyenne Lace beneath is from Live & Love Crafts.

All of Gracie's stamp sets can be found HERE for instant download. Additionally, there is a promotion for the remainder of the month so you can stock up on her fabulous stamps. ♥︎

Celebrating Love

Hello, sweet friends! I'm posting on the Live & Love Crafts blog today, sharing a card featuring a few of Sandy's newest goodies. The LLC store is bursting at the seams with crafty inspiration. ♥︎ This is also created for the new challenge at Deep Ocean Challenge, where the beautiful theme is Shabby Chic/Vintage!

This is to celebrate the selfless love of a couple whose child is enduring untreatable disease; a sweet little something for them to share as their kiddo opens the little goodies that will star throughout the package. (I do indeed still make little kid cards... I just don't have time to post them.)
Maja Design's Vintage Romance called me yet again, which is paired with a Wycinanka Large Birdcage. Its size makes it ideal for a pretty focal point. The cage is gorgeous on its own, but I couldn't resist dressing it up a bit.
Pearl-accented Mon Amour Lace lines the top. The trim is vertical, so I cut off several of the hearts to adorn the chippie horizontally. The Heart Lock is one of the new lovely charms, which is adhered with a bow using the versatile Fayette Lace. The cage and its accompanying birdie are painted with white acrylic paint.
For additional accents of gold, I added a Crown Sphere Pearl Pin to my flowers and a sweet Heart Key charm to a Prima vax cord bow.  The Pure Love crinkle ribbon is from sweet Diana of DL.Art. The top and bottom of my card are lined with Fayette and Madeleine laces, upon which I added a border of Sunflower Pearl Trim. The butterfly is a Memory Box Isabella die, delivering sweet love and blossoming hope.
Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a sparkly weekend. ♥︎
