Sprinkles of Summer at Live & Love Crafts

Happy July, sweet friends! It's time for a fun new challenge at Live & Love Crafts! This month's theme is Sprinkles of Summer. We want to see projects inspired by sweet bits of summertime. ♥︎

My card features Maja Design's Coffee in the Arbour and a gorgeous Wycinanka chippie, which will soon be fluttering to remind someone they are treasured. ♥︎
I have used nearly every sheet of this entire 6x6 pad. ♥︎ I especially love its florals and plaids. These darling daisies dancing in the breeze are summertime to me. The gorgeous Wycinanka chippie is from the Louvre Borders set. Glamour Dust covers the whimsical butterfly, while Wild Orchid Crafts flower clusters adorn the vine. My sentiment is from Whimsical Designs (no longer in business).
Pink Pearl Garland winds through the daisy/magnolia cluster, as I couldn't resist a pop of sweet pink love. ♥︎ The pretty bow beneath is Pure Love crinkle ribbon from my friend Diana of DL.Art. Shabbylicious Ruffle Lace cascades down the side, centered with Double Row Pearl Trim. A Marianne Design Lattice Edge trims the bottom, which is accented with pearls.
Peeking out from the rolled corner is sunshine and Pearl Heart love. ♥︎ Be sure to hop on over to LLC for inspiration from my sweet teamies! Thank you for visiting me and I wish you a sparkly weekend. :o)

Colors of Summer at Deep Ocean Challenge!

Hello, dear friends! It's time for a fun new challenge at Deep Ocean Challenge! We are celebrating the colors of summer! There are many to choose from in this beautiful season. While oceanic color palettes are one of my favorites, my heart belongs to the sweetness of bright pink and yellow. Our sponsor this time is the fabulous Noor Design UK shop!

I created an encouragement card for a precious teen battling cancer. She is sweet and sparkly and has faith that moves mountains. ♥︎
To send her an abundance of healing love and sunshine, I chose this sweet Prima resin balloon bouquet from the Hearts collection. It (and the wooden heart in the corner) are sprinkled with Shabby Pink Frantage.
The pretty papers are from Maja Design's Coffee in the Arbour. Most of the lovely trims and embellishments are from Live & Love Crafts, with the exception being Sweet Love crinkle ribbon from my sweet friend Diana at DL.Art. The flowers are a combination of Wild Orchid Crafts and I Am Roses.
For summertime fun, the interior is filled with lemons. My base was made with Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles. I hope this card wraps her in the sweetest hug. ♥︎

Be sure to check out the lovely creations from my talented teamies! Thank you for visiting and I wish you a sparkly day. :o)

Dots/Stripes at Deep Ocean Challenge!

Hello, sweet friends! I hope you're having a wonderful day. It's time for a fun new challenge at Deep Ocean Challenge and this time we're playing with Dots and/or Stripes!

This is for another teen cancer warrior to remind her she is loved beyond measure. In her critical state, she needs extra sprinkles and smiles. ♥︎
Just before beginning my card, I received a gift from a dear crafty friend. She sent me a box of craft goodies simply to bless me for no reason, so I dove in and put a bunch of them to use immediately. Indeed they are lovely, but I also wanted her to know how grateful I am. ♥︎

This cutie pie is Frappi Anya from The Greeting Farm, who is colored up with Copics and accented with StarDust Stickles. She is sparkling with healing love. I colored the landscape after watching a Kit and Clowder Sunset Background tutorial, although this is a mini version due to time and spacial constraints. I am whisking her away from the hospital into nature's beauty.
My flowers are a combination of I Am Roses and Wild Orchid Crafts. Of course most of my supplies are available at Live & Love Crafts, including the beautiful trims and Maja Design papers. The sweet sentiment is from Penny Black's Sprinkles and Smiles, which prompted me to add a sprinkling of pink sequins. They will tickle the recipient's precious heart. I gently curved the stamp to make it fit a wavy banner die. The darling stick pin is hard to see in this picture, but not at all in person... it is a lovely iridescent flower with spring green beads, which was part of a prize I won from my bloggie pal Wends. ♥︎

Copics used:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11
Hair: E02, E17, E09, E29
Clothing: R39, R81, R83, R85; YG61, YG63, YG67; B93, B95, B97
Landscape: YG61, YG63, YG67 (Grass); BV00, BV13, BV08 (Lavendar); BVYR15, Y19, Y15, Y11, BG0000, BG000, B00 (Sky); BV0000, BV01, YR01 (Clouds)

Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day! ♥︎

Spring is in the Air at Deep Ocean Challenge!

Happy Tuesday, sweet friends! I hope you're having a beautiful week. It's time for a fun new challenge at Deep Ocean Challenge and this time it's all about Spring! We are being sponsored by Live & Love Crafts, my favorite store. ♥︎

I'm anxious to see butterflies and flowers in all their Spring splendor. :o)
I'm celebrating Spring with an encouragement card and prayers of renewed hope for a sweetheart in need. My Maja Design papers are from the Sofiero (retired) and Coffee in the Arbour collections.
Nestled within Glamour Dusted Wild Orchid Crafts flowers is a sweet little birdhouse from La-La Land Crafts. Naturally it is bubbling up with love inside. :o) Two precious birdies await the recipient, ready to sing songs of hope to her heart. Cheery Lynn Mini Fanciful Flourishes serve as my vine. The lace is from The Ribbon Girl.
The Pure Love ribbon is from DL.Art's Valentine Bundle and the sweet butterfly is from Cheery Lynn. Once again I used Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles for my base. I had been wanting to do another flower/rolled paper combo since my scrapbook layout, but I really should have waited for a larger card base! This had to be pretty mini, but hopefully she'll think it's pretty anyway. ♥︎

Flutter on over to check out my teamies' beautiful creations and I hope to see you play along with us. Thank you for visiting and have a sparkly day. :o)

A Cuppa' Love

Happy Friday, sweet friends! I hope you're having a blessed week. I'm posting on the Live & Love Crafts blog today with a coffee-inspired creation. Coffee=Love. ♥︎

I used Maja Design's Coffee in the Arbour, as this gorgeous image from the collection instantly came to mind. One of the many things I've learned from being involved with parents whose children are fighting for their lives is that something as simple as a coffee with a loved one is cherished. This card will include a gift card to provide those few minutes to recharge.
Not only is the scene so dainty and pretty, but I also love the color palette. ♥︎ I have framed it with a Joy! Crafts Oval Frame.
The sweet pink and blues carry over to my floral arrangements, which include the stunning pink beaded berry stamens. They are somehow both whimsical and elegant, which is my favorite crafty combination. Magnolia Heart Swirls flourish within.
This lovely tag is also included in the collection, which is too pretty not to pair with the image. :o) A darling Maja butterfly has landed atop it. The opposite corner has a pearl heart, delivering pearly love to the recipient. ♥︎

Thank you for fluttering on by! Have a beautiful weekend. ♥︎

Pink at Live & Love Crafts!

Happy October, sweet friends! I hope your month is off to a beautiful start. :o) Today begins a new challenge at Live & Love Crafts, which is Pink! Gather your favorite pink goodies and play along with us. :o)

For my project, I created an encouragement card for a mother suffering the unthinkable heartbreak of losing her little daughter to an incurable disease. She was the bravest little toaster, inspiring us all with every breath of life. ♥︎
My papers are from Maja Design's Coffee in the Arbour, which is a favorite collection. Wild Orchid Crafts flowers are trimmed in Glamour Dust, blossoming alongside a lattice heart. The heart frame is from the Silhouette Online Store, while the inner lattice is Cheery Lynn Designs Small French Lattice. Cheery Lynn Mini Fanciful Flourishes scroll beneath my flowers.
Indeed I am sending her every ounce of love within me... praying that joy blossoms in her shattered heart. My sentiment is from JustRite's With Sympathy stamp set. The resin heart is a recent gift from my sweetheart, which is from Prima's Shabby Chic Treasures Hearts collection and tucked within a Shabby Chiffon ruffle of love. It is sprinkled with Shabby White Frantage.
The card base is Cheery Lynn's Horizon Square Boutique Stacker Frames, where love blossoms within. Flat-back pearls, sunflower pearls, and a heart pearl accent the front, along with a sweet doily for softness. I pray she feels every ounce of healing love with which this was created. ♥︎

Be sure to check out the inspiring work of my teamies at the LLC blog! I can't wait to see what you link up this month. :o) Thank you for visiting me and I wish you a beautiful day!
