The Magic of Christmas

Happy Friday, sweet and sparkly friends! I hope my American friends are having a beautiful Thanksgiving! Mine has been busy and lovely. ♥︎

I'm posting today on the Live & Love Crafts blog, where we're celebrating the spirit of Christmas. I was inspired by the magic that surrounds this beautiful season. ♥︎
Maja Design's Vintage Frost Basics create my Sugar Plum Fairy and her winter wonderland, which is paired with Purple I from Pion Design's Palette collection. My fairy is a Tattered Lace die. The heart frame is a Sue Wilson Italian Decorative Frame, while the sweet heart stems on the right are from Impression Obsession. Both are birthday gifts from a treasured friend. ♥︎
Wild Orchid Crafts flowers are sprinkled with Glamour Dust for Christmas sparkle, including the beautiful Lilac roses that coordinate so sweetly with the Vintage Frost designs. Hearts and love are nestled throughout my card, blossoming more beautifully than ever during this season of Hope.
A capped teardrop vintage pearl pin is nestled within the larger bouquet, while a pearl-adorned snowflake charm dangles from the tiny arrangement. A tiny shabby jingle bell jingles from the top of her wings. My die-cut snowflakes are from Cheery Lynn and banner sentiment from My Craft Spot is no longer produced.
The card base is Go Kreate's Large Frame Frilly 10. Milled Lavender distress ink accents my Joy! Crafts Lacey Square and Magnolia Heart Swirls scroll within my flowers. Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a magical weekend. ♥︎

  30. It's not that often a fairy gets to be the focal point of a Christmas card, and if so, they are usually stamped and coloured images. Actually I'm not sure if I've ever seen a diecut fairy, but she sure is gorgeous! Absolutely beautiful design and composition.
