Sweet Memories

Happy Friday, dear friends! Thank you for the amazing love on the card I posted yesterday. I am so thankful for all of you! ♥︎ I am mega rushed, so for once I have a short post! ;)

I'm up on the Live & Love Crafts blog today, where Sandy has set the theme of lollipops. :o) This is the main part of what will be a fun centerpiece celebrating sweet love, inspired by lollipop cards. ♥︎
My papers are from Maja Design's Vintage Summer Basics, while the tag is one of the cut-away strips in Vintage Autumn Basics. I paired them with a gorgeous vintage gold Damask Straw. These are such fun and I plan on adding several colors to my collection! I want to make a ton of rosette wands soon. :o)
The 3-D scalloped heart was made with papers from the 6x6 stack and set atop a fancy arrow made from Marianne Design's Anja's Vintage Ornaments 2. The rosette is engulfed in a circle of Tulle Pleat Trim, upon which I adhered a few Maja butterflies. Love makes our hearts flutter, after all. ♥︎ Tulle and a pearl string cascade down beneath a pink Natural Hemp bow to finish it off.

    Wow Karen, just gorgeous! I love your out-of-the-box thinking on this one and the 3D heart is inspiring! I love how the butterflies look like they're floating amid all the tulle and the papers you used are so SWEET!! I'm making a note of that design pack for future purchases!

    Oh, wow! Your lollipop card is totally stunning Karen.
    The 3D rosette centre looks magnificent along with all the gorgeous embellishments that you have so beautifully adorned to your card. The pretty butterflies in flight on the white tulle are so dreamy almost so that I want to reach out and touch them.
