Crafty Fun ♥︎

Hello, my sparkly friends! Happy weekend.♥️I'm fluttering in to share a wee bit more of my recent work for Crafter's Companion! I've been having so much fun in my crafty space.

My first few cards feature the new Split Invitation Dies. The detailing in the dies is exquisite!
I used the lovely Opulent Henna die to create a fancy edged card, blossoming in hope. The gorgeous patterned papers, ribbon, and peachy pearls are from a recent CC subscription box. The shiny peach paper is from the Parisian Luxury Pearl Card collection. The flower is (another!) Layered Peony, this time sprinkled with mini prills. There are endless options with the split dies and I am eager to play with them again.
This is the stunning Elegant Swirls die, which I used to make an invitation card. The bottom die has been cut out with the optional flap dies to create a pocket, while the top sweetly folds down as a closure. I used gorgeous pink paper is Parisian Luxury Pearl Card so it is beautifully shimmery. For my 'closure' I centered a lace die with a lovely heart charm from the Paris collection.
For this card I nestled part of the Elegant Swirls die within a Biarritz Heart Frame, which is inked up in Pink Tulip and Pale Fig Harmony Inks. Truly there is no end in beautiful ways to use these dies. The whimsical patterned papers are from a CC subscription box, while the purple is from their pearlescent collection. The butterfly is from the Flutterby Create-a-Card set. The sweet little sentiment is from the Peony Collection.
Lastly, I had another play with one of the new 3D embossing folders! This is Decorative Foliage, which I have showcased using a technique I learned from the fabulous Jennifer McGuire. I taped around the edge of a white piece of yardstick to make a frame, inked up the center with Straw Bale, Oasis, and Parakeet Harmony Inks, and then embossed it with what has become my favorite folder!

To keep the focus on the embossing, I simply added layers of luxury cardstock behind it and topped it with a double lace bow. The sentiment is from the Vintage Chic stamp set, which is stamped upon circles from the Ornate Circles Accordian die. I love the beauty that can come from even the simplest of techniques.

Thank you for visiting and I wish you a beautiful day!♥️

Birthday Love

Hello, my precious friends! The last several months have been challenging but I am happy to return to the beautiful blogging community of crafters. I have dearly missed you and will be sprinkling your blogs with love this weekend and Monday.♥️

Being on the Crafter's Companion Design Team has been an immense blessing! I used some of my favorite new goodies to create a birthday card for a special friend.
This was my first time coloring with Spectrum Noir markers! I used the Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers in Corals and Dull Greens. The lovely Peony Corner Bloom stamp and papers are from the Peony Collection. This is truly one of the most gorgeous collections I have ever had! The large flower is created from the Layered Peony Stamp and Die set. The petals are stamped with the Blush Midas Ink Pad, while the leaves are stamped with Sandstorm Harmony Ink.

The image is nestled within the exquisite Biarritz Frame Cut & Emboss Folder. It makes my heart flutter and I love that it cuts and embosses in one pass. I have lightly inked it in Straw Bale Harmony Ink for a touch of sunshine. My sentiment, also stamped in Blush Midas Ink, is from a combination of the Happy Birthday and Love, Laugh, Laughter Mix and Match sets. The pretty green floral border is from the Parisian Floral Borders & Corners.

Have a beautiful weekend, sparkly friends! I hope it is filled with everything sweet. ♥️
