Happy Friday, sweet friends! I hope you're having a wonderful week. I'm posting on the Live & Love Crafts blog today, where I am sharing this encouragement card featuring Pion Design's Easter Greetings. I will always love these papers to sparkly bits.
To help a teen cancer warrior through stormy tribulation, I am showering her with sprinkles of love. ♥︎ (And pearls!) I paired several of the purple Easter Greetings papers with a green from Maja's Enjoying Outdoors and a combination of pink and white flowers. So many colors pair beautifully with this collection.
I colored white Shabby Chiffon Ruffle Trim with Milled Lavender distress ink, lined it with Sunflower Pearl Trim, and layered it atop whimsical Marguerite lace. For this particular card, I like to think of it as hope blossoming from within ruffly clouds. Rainbows can emerge from even the darkest of days. ♥︎ Sweet butterflies flutter along the cascading seam binding for extra sweetness. A clay heart is nestled within the floral arrangement, which is embossed with Shabby Pink Frantage.
My sentiment scrolls across one of my very favorite LLC goodies: lace heart appliqué. It always fills my heart with warm fuzzies. Due to a time crunch, I'll simply list the dies used below:
*Card Base: Go Kreate Large Frame Frilly 7
*Umbrella: Magnolia Lovely Umbrella
*Umbrella Base: Spellbinders Floral Ovals
*Sentiment: Spellbinders Nested Lacy Pennants
*Foliage: Magnolia Heart Swirl
*Top Border: La-La Land Crafts Open Heart Doily
Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful weekend. ♥︎

Wow Karen, I can never get enough shabby goodness from you!! This is incredible, what a breathtaking layout with those amazing fancy die cut layers...wow!! Brilliantly soft and delicate, laces and pearls and Pion...oh my!! You never disappoint with your incredible creations my friend. Thank you for the inspiration, I'm off to my craft room to pull out my pink Pion papers!! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteMelting... that's my heart, Karen! Such pure beauty and sweetness. I hope your teen warrior makes a complete recovery soon. Karen, such a gorgeous creation - I always admire how you can pearl-up your designs and make them so vintage-ly feminine in the process. May I ask how you adhered all those tinier pearl beads above and below the parasol? It looks like the larger pearls are self adhesive? But what about those smaller ones? I think pearls are so pure, and they are strong, yet precious. So it is fitting that your conveyance speaks encouragement via pearls! Hope you enjoy a lovely week-end! hugs, de
