Happy Friday, sweet friends! I'm posting on the Live & Love Crafts blog today. I'm sharing a creation made with Pion Design's newest collection Glistening Season, which celebrates winter's beauty.
The papers are so gorgeous that I envisioned them as a snow globe card. ♥︎
This Christmas card serves a special purpose, as I am hopeful it will bring peace. On Wednesday of this week, the loveliest little girl I have ever encountered lost her battle to a ruthless fatal disease. She celebrated her 4th birthday in August. I remain shattered, but am trying to help her parents the best I can as our dear Father speaks through me. She will forever inspire. ♥︎
The image within the snow globe cut file is my new favorite church from Pion, titled Coming Home. It was cut out with a Spellbinders standard circle and is encircled with Sunflower Pearl Trim, as it also works beautifully as snowflakes. Each one is snipped from the trim and placed individually. The curve is a bit too steep for it to obey my crafty wishes. ;)
The scene at the base is another magical wonderland from the collection, bordered by a Flatback Pearl String and Pearl Lace with Beads. Cheery Lynn snowflakes and a Die-Namics Flourish wintry breeze are centered with garnet and crystalline rhinestones for Christmas sparkle. Shabby Jingle Bells center my bow and secure the golden heat-embossed My Craft Spot sentiment (no longer produced). It is stamped upon polka dotted vellum for snowiness.

An angled photograph to show the pretty snowfall that I carried inside, which is from Peacefulness. The card base was made with Pion's Palette (Blue III).
Thank you for visiting and I wish you a beautiful weekend.♥︎
