Summer Fun

Hello, sweet friends! My posting day on the Live & Love Crafts blog has changed to Wednesdays to help out a teamie, so here I am mid-week! In my hustle to get something made, I had to put off visiting your lovely blogs. I look forward to leaving you sparkly love today. :o)
*Edit: This is also for the fabulous new challenge at Deep Ocean Challenge, where we are immersing ourselves in summer and crafting with a Beach/Seaside theme! Please come join us! :o)

I am sharing a card featuring Maja Design's Summertime. There is a sweet story about what inspired this card, but alas I am unable to sit and type it out. Just know that it is filled with the utmost love for someone in need.
This is such a versatile collection, with elegant florals and whimsical summertime scenes. I fell in love with the precious children on one sheet, so I chose to use it as a focal point of summer fun.
Framing the scene is Wycinanka's Fleur de Lis, within which I nestled seashells and pearls. The sweet mini star bottle is filled with teeny shells and a sprinkling of glamour dust (which shows up nicely in person). For the pretty little flags, I used Wycinanka Paris Borders and Lacy Banner dies from My Craft Spot (no longer in business). All of my chippies are covered in crackle paint.
The foliage within the large flower arrangement is from Joy! Crafts Oval Frame. Maja perfectly captured summertime fun in the playful designs within the collection. :o) Thank you for visiting and I wish you a beautiful day. ♥︎
