Spring Fairies

Hello, sweet friends! I hope you're having a blessed week. Thank you SO much for the encouragement on my scrapbook layout... I am grateful! If I hadn't been sick all week I would have a page today, as I'm anxious to make another. :o)

I'm posting on the Live & Love Crafts blog today, showcasing Pion's gorgeous Easter Greetings. I am enamored with this collection. ♥︎
I made an Easter card for a sweet family, bursting in soft springtime beauty. This will be included in Anna's box of love, as I like to include a tiny blessing for the family of the battling individuals for whom I create. Since it'll be near Easter when this arrives, I thought her sisters and mother would enjoy a whimsical card as we celebrate our Lord's Resurrection.
The darling image is from the Spring Fairies sheet, which I've surrounded with Wild Orchid Crafts blossoms and a stunning Prima mulberry butterfly. The beautiful dies are from Joy! Crafts Frame and Contents set, a gift from a treasured friend. Milled Lavender distress ink highlights the embossing. Magnolia Heart Swirls provide leafy love. Lace Coco runs down the side for softness, while a resin Melissa Frances Garnish Appliqué accents the top.
The interior is lined with one of the pretty striped patterns and the sentiment was cut from the Borders sheet with a Spellbinders die. Easter Greetings has quickly become an all-time favorite. ♥︎ Thank you for fluttering on by! Have a beautiful day. ♥︎

  2. I hope you are feeling much better as you read this and on the mend now. You always produce such stunning cards that I'm afraid I sound rather repetitive in my comments but 'stunning' is the only word I can think of to describe your beautiful creations. They are full of gorgeous details and design elements and the love with which they were created shines through in each one.
    Take care,

Scrolling up and down, taking it all in and trying to remember all the beautiful products you used so I can fill up a shopping cart with all things Karen!! What a beauty this is! 4. Back and forth, I have to keep looking at each photo, and each tiny element, Karen. Many religions utilize prayer beads, with their fingers moving across the beads so that their hands match their hearts in praying. I see your fingers doing the same, but in creating these artful and prayerful reminders that people can see, smell and feel time-after-time, and be reminded that someone special is remembering THEM as someone special, too.

Those prima butterflies are incredibly cute with the wire and beads! The resin embellishments are gorgeous, too! The papers - what can I say? Every tiny element together breathes Life and Beauty!

Now for my other hat: Thanks for sharing with us at the {Scrapy Land Challenge}! Hope to see your pretty projects again soon!
