Paris Love

Hello, sweet friends! I hope you're having a lovely week. I'm on the Live & Love Crafts blog today with my take on Sandy's theme of Bon Voyage. :o)

My heart instantly leapt to Paris! ♥︎ This will soon be shipped off to encourage the dreams of a heartbroken mother.
I used Pion Design's Paris Flea Market for its beautiful pinks and elegance. The card base (Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles) and the Eiffel Tower (La-La Land Crafts) were made with Pink I from Pion's Palette collection. I love these heavier weight solids that perfectly match their unique color palette.
The Eiffel Tower was sprinkled with Shabby White Frantage. A slightly darker pink Tower was layered beneath to serve as its shadow. The Eiffel Tower charm is gorgeous and one of LLC's newest goodies. Ash Rose seam binding ruffles alongside the flowers. The postage stamp was made with My Craft Spot stamps and dies (no longer produced).
The green bottom layer and foliage (Magnolia Heart Swirls) are from Pion's Linneaus Botanical Journal. The mulberry butterfly is from Prima's Imago set, which flutters within a rose-accented doily. Wink of Stella sparkles atop the flowers and heart swirls. Pearls and lace are incorporated throughout, as always. Sandy has the loveliest selection of embellishments. ♥︎
Thank you for fluttering on by! Have a beautiful weekend. :o)

  24. The dangerous thing about doing bloghopping and commenting is that one always sees so many beautiful crafty things one can't live without, LOL. I'm very tempted to get the Eiffeltower die now, it's gorgeous! Beautiful take on the theme and a very beautiful card.

Trawling around blogland tonight, looking for Parisian themed papers and embellies and what should pop up in the feed (which I recognised immediately as yours!) but a gorgeous Parisian creation from one of my favourite crafters! Karen, this is utterly enchanting. I love everything about it! I hope you won't mind that I pinned it onto my 'favourite crafters' Pinterest board. Links straight back here to you of course. Huge hugs, Wends x
