Happy Thursday, my crafty friends! Are you ready for the surprise My Craft Spot mini release?! :o)
Kimberly was just too excited to wait for the next full release to share two of her new metal die sets! Join us today and tomorrow as we showcase these new goodies! Kimberly is offering an amazing prize each day, with the winners randomly being chosen from comments left on the MCS and DT members' blogs. The more blogs you leave a little love on, the more chances you have to win. :o) She is also picking a winner both days from customer orders! (More details on all prizes below!)
Today we are showcasing Kimberly's new Flowers- Rolled Roses metal dies! Not only are they fun to use, but the results are gorgeous!
For my project, I made a pearly and sparkly birthday wand centerpiece for my mom's special day! :o) I wanted to use patterned paper for the flowers, so I chose the gorgeous Graphic 45 Secret Garden collection to break in my metal dies. One fun part of rolled flowers is the ability to make them as full or tight as you prefer. For these ones, I let them naturally fall open a little bit before hot gluing them to their base tab.
Kimberly will be giving away a $15 gift certificate EACH DAY of this mini release, chosen randomly from comments left on our blogs!
Additionally, since these new goodies are available for purchase right now, Kimberly is picking a winner EACH DAY from customer orders for a $20 gift certificate!

An extra special occasion calls for extra love, so instead of making rosettes I opted for a lacy heart base. The heart is a Cheery Lynn die from the Two of Hearts set. The little leafy flourishes scrolling through the beautiful flowers is Cheery Lynn's Mini Fanciful Flourish.
All three sentiments are from My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags 3 stamp set. I cut out little banners for them and adorned them with pearls in graduating sizes. I just cannot make a wand of any kind without flowing ribbon, so I chose three gorgeous crinkle ribbon shades to leave a fluttery trail of love. I also wrapped my bamboo skewers with the ribbon to make the entire project soft and lovely.
Unseen in my pictures is that the flowers and bases are coated in shimmer from my Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. So lovely in person... so challenging to photograph! I hope my mom loves her sweet centerpiece... it was such an enjoyable way to play with these new dies. :o)
Ready to see both sets of metal dies?! :o) Today we're showing you the Rolled Flowers set of 2 metal dies...
... and tomorrow we'll be sharing with you the beautiful ways we used the Washi Tape set of 3 metal dies!Kimberly will be giving away a $15 gift certificate EACH DAY of this mini release, chosen randomly from comments left on our blogs!
Additionally, since these new goodies are available for purchase right now, Kimberly is picking a winner EACH DAY from customer orders for a $20 gift certificate!
Be sure to visit My Craft Spot to see the inspiring creations from my talented teamies! Thank you for celebrating with us and I wish you a sparkly day! :o)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful heart center pieces Karen, your Mum is going to love these :) :) :) Can I advise you hun, to watermark the image of the dies you have on your blog, they way they are at the moment it would be very easy for somebody to save the image and then make a trace of them to use of an electronic die cutter. :) :) Good luck in this weeks OSAAT Anything Goes challenge.
