Photo Inspiration at Live & Love Crafts!

Happy September, sparkly friends! It's time for a fun new challenge at Live & Love Crafts and it's a wintry delight. Sandy created a gorgeous Photo Inspiration, which you'll find just below.
Edit: This is also made for the new monthly Deep Ocean Challenge, where Karina has a marvelous Bingo board for inspiration! Please hop on over to see the lovely inspiration from my teamies.

I created this card to coordinate with my tag/ornament from yesterday, as it is for the same person. They look so sweet together. ♥︎
Here is the lovely collage.. she always makes them so beautiful. ♥︎
The winter wonderland inspired me to use Pion Design's Greetings from the North Pole, as it has such gorgeous snowy scenes. It sets the stage for countless avenues of Christmas joy. ♥︎
The moment I saw the tree in the collage, this exquisite Wycinanka Reindeer Bauble chippie came to my heart. I am enamored with it. ♥︎ The reindeer are stunning and the design is both whimsical and elegant. I popped it up above a circle of extra-snowy Pion Snowfall paper and centered it with a Button Etoile. It hangs from a Wycinanka Romance Corner by a pearl string and both chippies are gently dusted with Snow Writer and Glamour Dust.
Sweet trims abound, as I wanted this wrapped up all cozy. :o) Cinnamon sticks rest beneath a Cheery Lynn poinsettia, while my favorite reindeer charm frolics about. The lace border is one of Sandy's newest trims (Regine) and it is lovely. For pops of sparkly Christmas red I added Wine Pudding Pomegranate Apples and sweet pearl stamen.

My card base is made with Spellbinder's Romantic Rectangles and the white crinkle ribbon is from my dear friend Diana. Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a blessed day. :o)

Let it Snow

Hello, sweet friends! I'm posting some Christmas cheer on the Live & Love Crafts blog today! I had my first play with new gorgeous Christmas goodies from Pion Design and Wycinanka... I was certainly in my happy place.

This will first be used as a tag to adorn a loved one's gift, after which it will be used as an ornament for their Christmas tree. ♥︎
(Just a quick note that my frilly bows are now straight! The things you don't realize until pictures... hehe.)

My heart fluttered upon receiving this darling Wycinanka Let it Snow birdhouse and Pion's Greetings from the North Pole collection. Isn't it a precious pairing? The little background scene is from the Midwinter Night sheet. I painted the birdhouse in Crackle Paste and covered the snowy rooftop with Snow Writer and Glamour Dust. For its festive interior, I backed it with a holly design from last year's Christmas in Norway collection. The birdies are fussy-cut from the Borders sheet.
Snowy Christmas roses and Pomegranate Apples (in Cranberry Sauce) adorn their sweet little home. The ornament base is encircled with Mini Pom Trim and Pearl String, while the top is trimmed with a beautiful lace soon to be added to LLC's site. I love how the flowers can look like snowflakes, which was the inspiration to use it as such. The ever-versatile Fayette Lace is centered with a pearl snowflake to wrap the ornament with wintry beauty.

My sentiment tag is from My Craft Spot (not longer in business), which is cut out with a Spellbinders die. The base of my ornament (super hard to see here) is a Marianne Design Stitched Circle. Thank you for visiting and I wish you a beautiful day. ♥︎

Bridge of Love

Hello, sparkly friends! I'm posting a sweet little wedding card on the Live & Love Crafts blog today. The florals in Maja Design's Summertime are beautiful for all things lovey-dovey. ♥︎
For the focal point, I combined two stunning Wycinanka chippies: Bridge of Love is nestled within the Blueberry Swirls frame (one of my favorites). I debated for quite some time how to handle this combination, but in the end I preferred leaving them in their natural, minimally-adorned state. ♥︎
Sweet little clusters of Wild Orchid Crafts blossoms (and a Pomegranate Apple for sparkle) accent the frame, while a tiny Maja butterfly has landed atop the railing. ♥︎ The frame is surrounded with Shabbylicious Ruffle Lace for softness. Pearl Drop Trim and Tulle are quintessential wedding, above which I added a panel of butterflies (a Die-Versions die). One of Sandy's new pretty trims is Alicia, with which I have lined the butterfly panel and accented the rolled corner.
Tiny Pearl String and Flatback Pearl String accent throughout, while shabby Liberty Bells ring atop a Lace Heart Appliqué. (I have run myself out of these Liberty Bells... they are so beautiful!) The top of my card is a Joy! Crafts Edge die. My sentiment is from My Craft Spot (no longer in business).

Thank you for visiting and I wish you a sparkly day! ♥︎
