Sprinkled with Love

Happy Friday, sweet friends! I hope you're having a wonderful week. I'm posting on the Live & Love Crafts blog today, where I am sharing this encouragement card featuring Pion Design's Easter Greetings. I will always love these papers to sparkly bits.
To help a teen cancer warrior through stormy tribulation, I am showering her with sprinkles of love. ♥︎ (And pearls!) I paired several of the purple Easter Greetings papers with a green from Maja's Enjoying Outdoors and a combination of pink and white flowers. So many colors pair beautifully with this collection.
I colored white Shabby Chiffon Ruffle Trim with Milled Lavender distress ink, lined it with Sunflower Pearl Trim, and layered it atop whimsical Marguerite lace. For this particular card, I like to think of it as hope blossoming from within ruffly clouds. Rainbows can emerge from even the darkest of days. ♥︎ Sweet butterflies flutter along the cascading seam binding for extra sweetness. A clay heart is nestled within the floral arrangement, which is embossed with Shabby Pink Frantage.
My sentiment scrolls across one of my very favorite LLC goodies: lace heart appliqué. It always fills my heart with warm fuzzies. Due to a time crunch, I'll simply list the dies used below:

*Card Base: Go Kreate Large Frame Frilly 7
 *Umbrella: Magnolia Lovely Umbrella
 *Umbrella Base: Spellbinders Floral Ovals
 *Sentiment: Spellbinders Nested Lacy Pennants
 *Foliage: Magnolia Heart Swirl
*Top Border: La-La Land Crafts Open Heart Doily

Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful weekend. ♥︎

Spring is in the Air at Deep Ocean Challenge!

Happy Tuesday, sweet friends! I hope you're having a beautiful week. It's time for a fun new challenge at Deep Ocean Challenge and this time it's all about Spring! We are being sponsored by Live & Love Crafts, my favorite store. ♥︎

I'm anxious to see butterflies and flowers in all their Spring splendor. :o)
I'm celebrating Spring with an encouragement card and prayers of renewed hope for a sweetheart in need. My Maja Design papers are from the Sofiero (retired) and Coffee in the Arbour collections.
Nestled within Glamour Dusted Wild Orchid Crafts flowers is a sweet little birdhouse from La-La Land Crafts. Naturally it is bubbling up with love inside. :o) Two precious birdies await the recipient, ready to sing songs of hope to her heart. Cheery Lynn Mini Fanciful Flourishes serve as my vine. The lace is from The Ribbon Girl.
The Pure Love ribbon is from DL.Art's Valentine Bundle and the sweet butterfly is from Cheery Lynn. Once again I used Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles for my base. I had been wanting to do another flower/rolled paper combo since my scrapbook layout, but I really should have waited for a larger card base! This had to be pretty mini, but hopefully she'll think it's pretty anyway. ♥︎

Flutter on over to check out my teamies' beautiful creations and I hope to see you play along with us. Thank you for visiting and have a sparkly day. :o)

Graciellie Design Stamp Release Blog Hop and Giveaway!

This is my second post of the day. For the Live & Love Crafts April Challenge, please click HERE.

Hello, sparkly friends! It's time for a blog hop featuring the newest release from Graciellie Design's Digital Stamps! Gracie's stamps are versatile and elegant, sure to spark sweet creativity. Today I am sharing two projects using one of the new sets called In Its Time. ♥︎
I have an affinity for papers and images with clocks and this couldn't be more beautifully done. The sentiments are not only perfect companions for the image, but also lovely on their own.

I created a card and tag set for a family in need of encouragement. ♥︎
I am thoroughly enamored with this stamp set, which I paired with LemonCraft House of Roses papers. Both roses are colored with Copics, fussy cut, and layered atop the stunning clock.
For the card, the clock is layered atop a Sue Wilson Italian Collection Decorative Frame. (Copics used: RV10, R81, R85; YG93, YG95, YG97) Live & Love Crafts chiffon organza ruffles along the bottom, whimsically lined with a string of pearls from my sweet friend Karen. I envisioned motion as time marches on, leading us to a desired harvest of all things lovely.
The Scripture sentiment is another favorite part of this set; a beautiful reminder that God always brings beauty from ashes in His perfect time. The recipient of this card must always remember this promise as they fight heartbreak. It is cut out with a Spellbinders Lacy Pennant. Tucked among the LLC flowers and pomegranate apples are lacy leaves from Tattered Lace. Part of a die from Marianne Design's Anja's 2 Vintage Ornaments serve as hinges.
My tag is also a Marianne Design die. The miniature version of the clock rests atop a My Craft Spot doily die (no longer in business). The sentiment is surrounded by pearly promises and sweet tiny pom trim. The Sweet Love crinkle ribbon is from my dear friend Diana of DL.Art.

Photo Inspiration at Live & Love Crafts!

This is my first of two posts today. For the Graciellie Design Stamp Release blog hop, please click HERE.

Happy April, sweet friends! It's time for a new challenge at Live & Love Crafts! We have a gorgeous Photo Inspiration collage to inspire you.

Someone very special to my heart will soon be celebrating a birthday. ♥︎
Here is the collage that inspired my card:
In true Sandy form, the collage is beautiful! Elegant, whimsical, magical... endless avenues to spark your sweet creativity. I was inspired by several facets, including the dreamy colors. I used Pion Design's Paris Flea Market to capture my favorite notes of the color palette.
I also adore the decor in the first frame, which inspired my lace design along the side. Darling two-tone roses (and hidden Prima vax cord) encourage sweet 'poofs' of Coco lace. Do you like my technical wording? :o) Inspired by the bride, I chose my favorite vintage lady from the collection to serve as my birthday girl. She is surrounded with pearl string and nestled within Spellbinders Gold Labels Four layers.
Shabby seam binding cascades below a birthday bouquet, which is accented with special embellishments: Button Etoile and a Crown Sphere Pearl Pin. The card base is a Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles die, which I made with Pink II from Pion's heavyweight Palette collection.

Be sure to check out what my talented teamies have created to inspire you and I hope you'll play along with us this month! :o) Thank you for visiting and have a magical day. ♥︎
