Joy to the World

Happy Friday, sweet friends! I'm on the Live & Love Crafts blog today with my take on Sandy's holiday theme. My heart couldn't resist an opportunity to indulge in Christmas joy. :o)

This is for a special recipient who has endured far more than anyone should. Although my post is short, the love packed into the card is immeasureable. ♥︎
I used A Gift for You, which is Maja Design's traditional Christmas collection. The base shape is Go Kreate's Large Frame Frilly #10, which is topped with Maja's Given from the Heart pattern. I was drawn to the gorgeous deep red and white Christmas stars. The sentiment is from My Craft Spot's Joy to the World stamp set (no longer produced), which is cut with an altered Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennant.
Beneath all of the goodies is the lovely Isabelle lace, which I seem to use quite often! The beautiful focal point image is from the Die Cut sheet, which I've encircled in Shabby White Frantage and a tiny pom trim. A blanket of snow rests along the bottom of my card, courtesy of Shabby Chiffon Ruffle Trim topped with Sunflower Pearl Trim. The Memory Box My Precious Snowflakes in the corner are covered in Glamour Dust and centered with a Sunflower Pearl.
The poinsettias (made with the Cheery Lynn Poinsettia Strip) are sprinkled with Shabby White Frantage for a touch of snow mixed with holiday gold. Their centers are Frosted Berries in Bordeaux, which add the prettiest sparkly dimension. Memory Box Frosted Spruce Trees are made snowy with Polar White Flower Soft. The card's interior is lined with the Underneath the Christmas Tree design.

Thank you for visiting! Have a wonderful day. :o)

Where Flowers Bloom

Hello, sweet friends! I hope you're having a blessed week! I'm up on the Live & Love Crafts blog today, posting a soft and sweet creation. Poppies are one of August's birth flowers, so Sandy is having us play with them this week. :o)

Soft pink poppies inspired a delicate encouragement card, upon which I've combined two Pion Design collections: Linnaeus Botanical Journal and Paris Flea Market. This is for the precious mother of a child I dearly love. Although her daughter's diagnosis is terminal, we continue to believe for her miracle. I pray this brings heavenly peace to her broken heart.
The background paper is from the Rose du Jardin sheet from Paris Flea Market. The beautiful Isabelle lace is lined with a light pink design from Linnaeus Botanical.  The "Where flowers bloom so does hope" sentiment is cut from the Caroli Linnaei sheet with a Spellbinders banner. The Cheery Lynn Designs butterfly flutters about, leaving a pearly Prima trial.
The resin Prima Shabby Chic Frame is sprinkled with Shabby White Frantage and filled with pearls of hope. The triple-layered butterfly within is from Linnaeus Botanical. Hope is key to endure tribulations, so I paired the sentiment with the stunning Key to my Heart charm. It is covered in Shabby White Frantage and decorated with tiny pearls. It hangs from pearl string, as does a pearl heart for extra love.
The yellow centers of the Apple Blossoms inspired a trio of sunshiny Pion butterflies fluttering atop a La-La Land Crafts Open Hearts Doily Border. They are guiding her gaze heavenward, where it needs to be. Shabby Seam Binding ruffles alongside the floral arrangement, while Magnolia Heart Swirls scroll beneath. Love is always the foundation.
The interior is lined with the Linnaea Borealis sheet, as I wanted flowers throughout. This way she and Addilyn are always surrounding by blooming flowers... always surrounded by hope.
I pray she loves it. ♥︎

Thank you for visiting and I wish you a beautiful weekend! :o)

Blue Creations at Live & Love Crafts!

Happy August, sweet friends! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend. It's time for a fun new challenge at Live & Love Crafts! This month we're crafting in blue, so choose your favorite blue goodies and play along with us. :o)

I opted to celebrate the blue of the ocean, inspired by Pion Design's Shoreline Treasures collection and the sweet seashells Sandy added to the store this summer. This card's mission is to bring nature's beauty to someone battling overwhelming darkness.
Pion brilliantly captured the ocean's beauty in this collection. I love the dreaminess of the vintage swimmer, clearly captivated by the sprawling waters. She is atop a Joy! Crafts Frame and 3 Corners die, while the coordinating Border die adorns the top of my card.
Shabby Chiffon Ruffle Trim lines the bottom, which I've accented with Mini Nassa Seashells, a larger Cockle Seashell (unseen in this cropped image), and oceanic pearls. The Mini Glass Bottle is filled with Mini Nassa shells and Glamour Dust. It pains me that the bottle picture isn't better! I had visions of fluttering whitecaps bringing treasures to the shoreline.
Dividing the blue script paper (preserved summertime memories) and the water is Pearl Lace. The Pion butterflies are trimmed in Glamour Dust, sparkling with love. The sentiment-wielding cut-apart is adorned with a few Nassa shells. 6mm Flatback Pearl String trims the pretty oceanic border scene, one of my favorite papers from the Sailing sheet... it's just so beautifully done.
Nassa shells are tucked within the Wild Orchid Crafts floral arrangement. The blue lilies and Chrysanthemum are trimmed in Glamour Dust, as is the Memory Box Isabella butterfly. I used Pearl Stamen for her antennae. She is carrying a message of love to the recipient, sparkling like sunbeams dancing atop the ocean.

Thank you for swimming on by and I wish you a sparkly day. :o)
