My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party- Day 5!

Happy Friday and welcome to Day 5 of the My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party! This spectacular party featuring sneak peeks of FIVE new stamp sets and THREE new metal die sets isn't quite finished. (And you won't want to miss Saturday's BLOG HOP, which is also when the new goodies will be available for purchase!) :o)

Today we are showcasing the NEW Simply Sentiments stamp set, which so beautifully nestle inside the NEW Tiny Doilies 2 metal dies. With how often I use the original Tiny Doilies dies with the Stamping All Around circular sentiments, you know I was happy dancing when I saw these new additions! :o)

You saw a sneak peek of these in my card from Day 1, where they were a lovely accent! I was overly excited. :o) For today's project, I more prominently used them as gorgeous tags for glassine goodie bags to let a friend know I'm thinking of her. :o)
There are four new lovely designs of the metal doily dies! I used three in varying colors to coordinate with my Heartfelt Creations paper. Please enlarge the photo to better see the incredible sentiments! This stamp set is filled with sweet messages for an abundance of themes, offering encouraging tidbits and festive greetings.
Do you recognize that butterfly? It's the same stamp I used in my rainbow butterfly card yesterday from the new Jar Full of Flowers set! I originally intended to simply stamp the glassine bags, but opted to heat-emboss them instead. I love the shine and texture that come with heat-embossing. :o) (A word of warning, which probably should have been common sense to me: bending the heat-embossed area of a glassine bag will crack the design! Broken butterflies are sad butterflies. Sigh.)

I didn't want to use these for a baked treat, so I filled them with Wild Orchid Crafts roses for a beautiful gift. It's a lovely avenue to surprise a fellow crafter with some new embellishments or trims. :o)

Be sure to frolic on over to My Craft Spot to see the inspiring projects from the team! Leave a comment on Kimberly's post for a chance to win today's giveaway: the Stamping All Around Spring stamp set!

My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party- Day 4!

Hello, my treasured friends! Are you ready for more fun?! :o)

Welcome to Day 4 of the My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party! All week long we're sharing sneak peek projects using FIVE new stamp sets and THREE new metal die sets! The celebration ends with a fantastic blog hop on Saturday, with prizes at every stop! :o) Kimberly is also offering daily giveaways at the My Craft Spot blog!

Today we are showcasing the new Jar Full of Flowers stamp set, which coordinates with Kimberly's amazing Jar Basics stamp set and metal dies. I was so excited to see a new addition to her popular 'Jar' series... and let me tell you, this one is gorgeous!

My card is for this month's I Feel the Love Project, where we are making projects for the Pediatric Floor at UCLA Hospital in Santa Monica. Not only does this stamp set have sweet flowers, but it also has butterflies!
Color me sparkly! You know my adoration of butterflies. After coloring them with Copics, I layered the two sizes of 'overhead' views and also doubled up the side-view stamp... I wanted it to look like they're in flight, fluttering off of the card. :o)
They are covered in Star Dust for a sparkling rainbow of healing love. The twinkly patterned paper is from Kaisercraft's Magic Happens collection. Isn't the flower beautiful? I doubled it up for extra dimension, with foam tape between the layers. The sweet sentiment is also from this new set. My jar is from Jar Basics, which is heat-embossed in silver. Zva Creative flourishes burst forth in delight, encouraging the butterflies (and recipient) to rise up, look up, and believe their rainbow is coming.
The lovely shape for my card base is an accent element from a St. Patrick's Day card cut file. I knew I'd want to enlarge it to use as a base shape, as the eyelet trim is just so pretty. I replaced the tiny holes in the design with crystals, which I colored with Copics to match the butterflies. A delicate rainbow trim seemed appropriate. :o) The stunning lace is from The Ribbon Girl.

It was hard to use a completely white card base, but I wanted these new butterfly stamps to pop. I pray this brings hope and joy to the battling child, enticing a smile amidst the pain. There's nothing sweeter than a child's smile and I'll do all I can to encourage one. :o)

Pirouette on over to My Craft Spot to see the incredible work by the entire Design Team! Leave a comment on Kimberly's post to be entered to win today's daily prize: Tiny Tags Metal Dies! (One of my favorite MCS products!)

Anything Goes at 7 Kids College Fund!

*** This is my second post of the day! For Day 3 of the My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party, please CLICK HERE or scroll down! :o) ***

*** Edit: This was made in advance for a future I Feel the Love Project recipient, which has turned out to be August's! I pray it is a blessing! ***

Hello again! Today starts a new Anything Goes challenge at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog! I made a peaceful card to tell someone that they are in my prayers. :o)
My base was created with the Spellbinders Gold Labels 4 set. It's such a pretty shape! To create my popped-up frame for the front, I simply cut into an extra Gold Labels 4 layer with the coordinating Nestabilities Labels 4. The embossed areas of the frame are inked with Tim Holtz Faded Jeans distress ink.

The focal point is a lovely stamp from Crafty Individuals, titled Wild Flowers and Butterflies. To create a twilight setting for it, I blended three shades of distress ink, beginning with the lightest: Tumbled Glass, Broken China, and Faded Jeans. Tiny rhinestones serve as sparkly paths for the butterflies and also adorn the frame. :o)

The beautiful sentiment is from My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags 2 stamp set, which is cut out with the coordinating Tiny Tag Metal Dies. A simple bow finishes it off, created with Blueberry Trendy Twine, also from My Craft Spot.

You have two weeks to play along with us, so I hope you'll join the fun at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog! Have a beautiful and blessed day! :o)

My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party- Day 3!

Hello, friends! Welcome to Day 3 of the My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party! This week we are providing sneak peeks of FIVE new stamp sets and THREE new metal die sets, all available to purchase on Saturday! Weren't the first two days amazing?! I love this release with all of my sparkly heart. :o)

Today we are featuring the Scrapping Life- Calendar stamp set, which coordinates with the fantastic goodies from yesterday: Scrapping Life- Everyday stamps and Scrapping Life Cards metal dies! As with the entire new release, the versatility this set offers is outstanding.

For my project today, I created something for a sweet little boy who is currently hospitalized at UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica. He is one of the recipients for this month's I Feel the Love Project. Initially I was stumped! So I gathered all of this week's new release goodies and went through them once again... and a delightful combination emerged! I knew exactly how to use this calendar stamp for him:

A fun little wall hanging calendar for his hospital room, paired with sentiments to tell him that he is loved every day... by me and so many. :o) (And every tiny love bug that holds it in place.)
Isn't the calendar stamp marvelous? I cut it out with one of the Scrapping Life Cards dies. :o) The sweet giraffes are cut files from Little Scraps of Heaven. For extra texture, I used Brown Jute String from My Craft Spot for their manes and tails. "I love you" is from the new Big Sentiments 2 stamp set. I used the masking technique to separate "every" and "day," which is on the Scrapping Life- Everyday set.
I chose papers that were all outdoorsy in theme, including the Lilybee wooden paper with hearts that I've been saving. The perfect occasion finally came! The ladybug clothespin is adhered with hot glue, enabling him to easily change out the months. I'm mailing it out with March attached, as that is when he will receive it.

You didn't think I'd only send him ten months, did you? Not a chance... it gave me the opportunity to show him that he's been dearly loved every day this year. Instead of 'checks' to cross off each day of January and February, I made sparkly red hearts:
There are so many options with this fun set, as you'll see if you head on over to My Craft Spot to check out what the team has created! While there, leave a comment on Kimberly's post for a chance to win today's daily prize: Sequins in Tickled Pink, Lemon Meringue, and Toadally Green! So fun!

My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party- Day 2!

Hello, my dear friends! Welcome to Day 2 of the My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party! :o)

Today we are featuring the new Scrapping Life- Everyday stamp set and the coordinating Scrapping Life Cards metal dies! These were created by Robin and can be used like the Project Life scrapbooking cards. They are also just the right size for cards, adding to their versatility.

For my project, I created a sparkly box to treasure precious moments. :o) (And incorporated two of the new Big Words metal dies!)
Upon request, the lovely ladies behind the beloved I Feel the Love Project told me about the upcoming March recipient of our mission. I wanted to be able to dedicate something to them during this festive week! I can't yet share the recipient's heartbreaking story, but this was made for her and her mom. I like to think of this box as a sparkling embrace of moments shared.
This new stamp set is filled with sentiments that are not only ideal for scrapbooking and minis, but also for every type of project. There is sweetness, whimsy, and a variety of emotions. I'm eager to use several for regular cards, too! For this box, I chose three of the sentiments to decorate the panels:

"Everyday memories" to encourage the recipients to cherish the memories made in the everyday... not just special occasions.

"Happy little moments" to find the happy in every moment... using them to find beauty in the midst of personal chaos. I paired this with one of the pretty flourishes from the Tiny Tags 2 stamp set.

"Life is an Adventure"... along with a sweet little camera for them to capture it. :o)

The hearts and camera are from the new metal die set, which I adore. I am enamored with the camera! I used Kaisercraft Enchanted Garden paper throughout this box, including the die cuts. If enlarged, you can see I chose script paper for the camera to signify the recording of memories. And I couldn't resist adding some rhinestones to sparklify their adventures. :o)
The top is bursting with glitter. :o) I combined the Happy and You metal word dies with Cameo-cut letters to create my title. (Isn't the font of the dies stunning?!) It could work for a lovey-dovey relationship, but this is for a mom who is so proud of her daughter who tirelessly battles. I added Zva Creative rhinestones flourishes on top of the glittery paper because you can never have too much sparkle. The Wild Orchid Crafts roses are sparklified with a Wink of Stella brush tip glitter marker, which is gorgeous in person.

I hope the sweet mom and brave daughter love this tiny treasure chest of sappy love as much as I do. :o)

Be sure to flutter on over to My Craft Spot to see the inspiring work from my talented DT sisters! While there, leave a comment on Kimberly's post for a chance to win today's daily prize: the Cute Critters stamp set! :o)

My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party- Day 1!

Welcome to the My Craft Spot Stamp Release party! Each day this week we will be sharing projects to showcase FIVE new stamp sets and THREE new metal die sets! Kimberly will have a giveaway every day this week, so be sure to leave a comment at My Craft Spot to be eligible for the daily prize. You'll also be treated to an abundance of inspiration from the entire team! The party will end with a blog hop celebration on Saturday, where the full release is revealed and prizes will be given at every stop! Kimberly's new goodies will also be available for purchase beginning that day. :o)

Today we are featuring the new Big Sentiments 2 stamp set! This set is so versatile and I love working with the larger sentiments. It covers a variety of themes and the font is delightful! (Throughout the week we will also be showcasing the Big Words metal dies into some of our projects.)

The moment I saw the stamps, I knew I'd be pulling out my Copics! :o)
The sweet sentiment that's sending happy thoughts made me think of this little cutie pie. Honeybee by Elisabeth Bell is sending our love to a precious recipient of this month's I Feel the Love ProjectWhat better way to begin my work with this team than to help cheer up the hospital room (and heart!) of a child fighting serious sickness? I made Honeybee two tiny bows with My Craft Spot Traditional Chocolate twine and used Flower Soft for little poms. The banner is secured with a Wild Orchid Crafts sweetheart blossom.
I opted for whimsical papers filled with nature's beauty, a fluttering border of butterflies from Joy! Crafts (trimmed in Victorian Velvet love), and lots of texture for her little hands to enjoy. The filigree corners are a La-La Land Crafts die.

Nestled in my pocket card is a tiny treat to encourage her as she battles...
Aren't the tiny doilies pretty *and* adorable, all at the same time? They're a sneak peek of more new goodies to be revealed later in the week! I used four different sentiments, but you'll have to wait to see the rest. ;) Petal Pink crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot is layered atop lace and holds a dangling heart charm for an extra touch of healing love.

An angled view for a peek inside and to show the flowers I layered for dimension:
Don't forget to flutter over to My Craft Spot to see the rest of the team's work and leave a comment for a chance to win the Happy Easter stamp set! :o)

Something Special Just For You!

Happy Wednesday, my sweet friends! I hope you're having a beautiful day. :o)

Today I'm showcasing one of my favorite lines carried at 7 Kids College Fund: Wild Rose Studio! It's no surprise that I fell in love with this line, as their image stamps and papers are sheer whimsy. My card was made for this month's I Feel the Love Project collection, soon to be in the hands of a precious hospitalized child at Santa Monica's UCLA Medical Center.

Cake-sharing bunnies make kiddos smile, right? :o)
The adorable image is Bunny with Cake and the lovely papers are from the Butterfly Glade collection. My adoration for butterflies (and purple) put this pad at the top of my wish list and I was elated when it came back in stock. :o) The little bunny (with his fluffy Flower Soft tail) is surrounded in hearts, created using a Heart Confetti Journaling Tag cut file as a stencil. I used Spun Sugar distress ink to immerse the recipient in the sweetest of love.
The happy sentiment is from My Craft Spot's Stamping All Around Spring stamp set, which I've cut out with the coordinating Tiny Doilies Metal Dies. (Yes, I'm still happy dancing from yesterday's news!) Surrounding it is a collection of flowers from the new Memory Box release Adorable Posies. For an extra dose of healing love, Precious Hearts accent the corner and are centered with heart-shaped rhinestones. The shimmery ribbon is from SEI.

Inside is one of my favorite papers from the collection, ready to flutter into the dear child's heart:

I pray that this little card delivers endless love! :o) Thank you for hopping on by and I wish you a sweet and sparkly day! :o)
